Look, is it the most original music of all time? No. But there's something about this new iteration of this band that's fun to listen to, and for those reasons - I'm in.

Production is as plastic as always.

Drums are really obnoxious on this album's mix. Kick and snare are overpowering as fuck.

Individually, these tracks these guys have been putting out are cool, but I can't for the life of me conceive listening to a whole album of this.

More or less, yeah. It's their biggest problem imo. Very few of their songs have moments or distinct elements to separate them from each other. As Kinetic mentioned, you listen to one song and it's all good fun, but as soon as you put several together it just blends into a mass of sameness.

Did you guys see the video where Will Ramos (from Lorna Shore) went on that reaction channel and had a camera shoved down his nasal cavity to see inside his throat when screaming? They were literally reacting in real time with him while looking close at his throbbing throat hole on a screen. That shit was wild. Next level reactions. Also, this is not a joke.

I actually did see that video and I will say....what Will can make his vocal chords do is absolutely nuts. Say what you want about the creativity side of Lorna but talent wise - Will has amazing vocal ability.

The whole band is insanely talented as far as their technical ability. No one can deny that. Their song writing needs some work though, in my opinion at least. Will actually has a decent singing voice. I'd be interested if they went a Whitechapel route and incorporated some clean vocals into the mix as well.

Every one of their songs has the same structure:
- Symphonic intro
- Black metal inspired beginning
- "Surprising" sudden low-growled breakdown
- Back to the black metal stuff
- Random guitar solo
- Abrupt silence with isolated vocal callout stuff
- SUPER HEAVY CRUSH YOUR NUTS breakdown (with sUpEr WeIrD gurgles)
- Return to the black metal stuff for a sec or two

It's just the opposite of creative or unpredictable these days. Bummer that the band and Will have to continuously figure out how to write 5+ minute songs with microphone deep-throating gimmicks just to get that reaction channel shock-porn exposure. Pass.
