I'm looking forward to this, these lads and Be'lakor are on my melodeath podium. Song is solid.

Sounds like something from Palo. I like

swamp explorers

Let's gooooo. Great song, brutal AND melodic. They never disappoint.
|
| |
Pretty good song, count on Kalmah to bring the riffs
|
| |
premium swamp metal
|
| |
Would be the best song on the new Insomnium album.
|
| |
I mean the lead on this track is far better than any riff on Anno 1696
|
| |
Feel like the new Insomnium record relies more on atmospherics than straight up riffs but you're not wrong
|
| |
Atmosphere is better when generated by good riffs and coupled with quality songwriting/varied structure. Melodic death metal without riffs is like a car without wheels - yeah you can sit in there and rev the engine but you are going nowhere and just making a lot of noise.

Good analogy Crysis

yo this fucking slaps
|

|
| |
Another banger from these guys
|
| |
sound like kalmah ok fine
|

Kalmah still kicks ass.

SON OF A BITCH

Would be the best song on the new Insomnium album. [2] LMAO

haunted by RIFFS
|
| |
Decent, this band seldom disappoint.
|
| |
I was a little disappointed with Palo
by which I mean it was still pretty sweet
|
| |
band are incapable of writing a bad song
|
| |
Not bad, pretty standard Kalmah stuff
|
| |
Yeah this is just standard Kalmah. Better than anything from Palo though
|
| |
The new track is absolutely awesome

New song is definitely better than the first single but I feel like it didnt really go anywhere. Just kinda stuck with the same idea the whole song
|
| |
Sounds like a hybrid of Wintersin and new Amorphis
