The Dandy Warhols are rockmakers 2024-01-17 by Raul Stanciu STAFF | 9 Comments | Celebrating their 30th anniversary, The Dandy Warhols return with ROCKMAKER, their 11th studio album. It will be out on March 15 through Sunset Blvd. Records and features collaborations with Black Francis (The Pixies), Slash and Debbie Harry (Blondie). First single "The Summer of Hate" was released 3 months ago, but a second one was unveiled with the official LP announcement.

They definitely do have their moments but mostly they happened 25 years ago. That said, I really like the Black Francis song but hate the other one.

The two songs are nice, Summer of Hate grew on me lately. It seems they are trying again to make better songs.

I still like a lot Welcome to the Monkey House too. The Last High is one of their best tunes IMO.

Yeah I still enjoy it somewhat too. Maybe not as much as the two albums before, but there's some good stuff on Monkey House; The Last High being the highlight.

I bought Monkey House as a teen on CD just for the We Used To Be Friends single and it did end up being pretty cool album overall
