Flight 666 sounds like another 9/11 movie.

I disagree. I'd argue they sound just as good as they sounded in the 80's. With the addition of their third guitarist, their songs sound much better live as well.

Bf ftw! Saw them in June as well. One of the highlights of 2008 music wise for me.

i'm usually of the school of thought that "small club shows = awesome, stadiums = no connection, boring shite," but these guys are a massive exception.

i saw them when they were touring AMOLAD and playing the whole album through, and i have NEVER seen a band with such amazing stage presence and technical ability. they actually outdid the recordings by a long shot.

needless to say, i'm absolutely gonna go see this!

Wonder if it will be very commercial or more of a festival movie

It actually WAS 1984. Bruce Dickinson hit notes so high that the time-space continuim was shattered, and for a few seconds the world skipped back to the 80's.
I remember the time distinctly, as I felt the uncontrollable urge to spin a Paula Abdul cd and play Qbert.

They sound phenominal, AAMOF I think Bruce even sings better. I saw them in Jersey a while back and they were absolutley mind blowing. It was my first time seeing them though. Only thing though, Nicko simplified a bit of his drumming, but ill cut him slack he is 50 something years old.

Yeah, I'm dying to see them, but their tour scheme hasn't been exactly combined with a place close enough to where I live.
