Finland's 69 Eyes will release their ninth studio record Back In Blood on September 15.

Described (by, er, the person who wrote their press release) as a "latter-day Appetite For Destruction," Back In Blood was inspired by erotic movies and vampire flicks, and features guest spots from the Brides Of Destruction's London LeGrande and Die Mannequin's Care Failure.

Tracklist:

1. Back In Blood
2. We Own The Night
3. Dead N' Gone
4. The Good, The Bad & The Undead
5. Kiss Me Undead
6. Lips Of Blood
7. Dead Girls Are Easy
8. Night Watch
9. Some Kind Of Magick
10. Hunger
11. Suspiria Snow White
12. Eternal

Dead Girls Are Easy is mediocre. Hopefully the rest of the album will be better.

Surprisingly these guys aren't complete posers, haven't listened to them in ages but there are much worse bands out there, album could turn out either way

I've been trying to avoid things dealing with vampires since Twitards started infecting my hometown, but I've started listening to Type O Negative again, so perhaps it's time to put my 69 Eyes albums back in rotation. Check this out once it drops. I never listen to the preview songs as they manage to pick my least favorite song off the album 80% of the time, and press releases are typically bullshit anyway.

Wasting the Dawn, Blessed Be and Paris Kills were pretty good. Sadly, the quality really slipped with their last two albums. Not really looking forward to this
