Donovan’s vocals are so tiring and monotonous at this point. Not a terrible song but completely forgettable

Their Elephantitis Ep has been the only memorable thing they’ve done

Hate to agree. I was big on Wake and Secret Wars, but everything else they've done has just been fine. Donovan's vocals have really started to blend together. Song is good
|

song is fine, but as with all swancore, I hope there's more variety/dynamic range on any hypothetical full album
|
| |
band does no wrong. can't wait for another album
|

Absolutely stellar and cannot get enough of his vocals
“Finally at the point”
Band has been relevant for less than a decade?
|

The band knows what they do and they do it incredibly well. Nobody complains when Counterparts does it :P
|
| |
Imagine saying their EP is their only worthwhile stuff pepega

Their Ep is their only worthwhile stuff.

Dig the guitar parts especially at the beginning. Not crazy about the vocals. Not familiar with the band at all but I'll check Elephantitis soon

that theme riff is top tier, could listen to that all day. the verses are just a total void tho; wide open space for vocals. not sure if that's production or arrangement tho. I like Donovan perfectly well, but I'd like HtS a lot more if there was at least some vocal counterpoint besides the guitarist occasionally barking or doubling :/

Good song.
