Finally Tech releases his twelfth studio album called “All 6s and 7s”. Tech N9ne says to fans Tech will never go mainstream, mainstream will go Tech”.My initial thought of Tech working with all these mainstream artists was skeptical. Techs whole career has been about being independent and saying “*** the industry”. Finally I decided that if it led to some really good music I will accept it for what it is and not criticize. So is Techs journey into the mainstream worthy of a listen? Will this album go up as legendary?

Tech starts off rapping over a dubstep beat (believe it or not) in a song called “Technicians”. Its actually better than you think with a double time flow over the beat. Its a good song but starting the album off with it shows what you are in for. “Am I Psycho” featuring B.o.B and Hopsin is also pretty good. Hopsin does a great job of killing his verse. B.o.Bs singing addition works well here. Tech rapping about how he burned a stripper with a cigarette is a little bit odd though.”World Wide Choppers” will be the song everyone talks about. I feel like more of the songs on the album should have been like this. “World Wide Choppers” features nine of the fastest rappers including Tech N9ne, Yelawolf, Twista and Busta Rhymes. This song is every bit of fast and ruthless as you would expect it to be. Everyone delivers a amazing verse and at five minutes it doesn't feel to long.

“I Love Music” is one that I usually skip just because the beat doesn't do anything for me. The chorus of “I Love Music” just repeats “I Love Music” and I expect more creativity here. “Cult Leader” is one of my personal favorites and the vocals done by Liz Suwandi are amazing here. The lyrics to here are angry and relatable, which is something Tech is good at. Then we get to the big one “*** Food” featuring Tech N9ne, Little Wayne and T Pain. I have very mixed feelings about this song, first off its called “*** Food”. Allot of times you can get a feel for a song by its title like for example purposes “No Love” by Eminem. “Amilli” or “Lollipop” by Little Wayne we know what to expect. When you come across a song called “*** Food” what am I supposed to expect? The only reason I ever wanted to see Wayne and Tech work together was so that Tech would destroy him. We know that Tech is capable of triple time flows with relatable music. However instead of seeing any of that we get an entire song about sex. Tech and Wayne do just about the same on both of their verses. The song doe's have a good beat to it though and can be a enjoyable listen. When it “comes to “*** Food” I was just expecting more though.

“So Lonely” is one of the best songs on the album combining Techs explosive flow with a great hook. Tech has been criticized for having bad hooks but Mackenzie O' Guin does a great job here. Eminem was rumored to be featured on “So Lonely” but couldn't make the deadline in time. Its a shame maybe on the next album we can get a Eminem,Tech N9ne callabo. Tech N9nes beats are getting increasingly better too. Just listen to “Delusional” it packs a great beat. Every artist Tech gets for his hooks does a great job. Its good to see that he is improving in the areas he needs too. “Hes A Mental Giant” is a very egotistical song rapping about how incredible he thinks he is. It has a good beat but the “Tech N9ne” chanting in the background bothers me a little bit. “Mama Nem” is some straight 2Pac inspired music. Tech spills his love for his mom and all her sisters. “Mama Nem” is likable but not entirely loveable. Tech finishes the album strong with a great song called “Promiseland”.With Strange Music getting bigger so does the production and you can tell on “Promiseland”.”Promiseland” is a great song to ends the album with because it is perfect. Everything from the hook to the beat to the flow is great.

With hip hop having a slow start in 2011 Tech N9nes “All 6s and 7s” may just be what the industry needs to get jump started again. Tech N9ne is going to get allot of criticism for “going mainstream”. This being his twelfth studio album I would say it is about time and is a good direction for him. You can't really blame the mass production and vision that Tech has though. There are nine artist on “Worldwide Choppers” and Tech i'm sure will continue to try and raise the bar. Artists like Big Scoob, and Jay Rock are featured on the album but I was hoping for more Brotha Lynch and Krizz Kaliko who seem to be missing. Overall clocking in at twenty four songs plus more bonus tracks I really can't complain. Tech raises the bar once again and I can't wait to see the impact.

Tech dips into the main stream and crafts one of 2011's finest....

From what started out as a top album of 2011 ended up being quite of a disappointment....

this album all around for me was amazing. each song complimented itself and shows a variety of styles that

tech is capable of from dark, party, sexual, and lyrical. i would definitely give it a 4.5 in my book.

Listen to am I a psycho, he's a mental giant, cult leader, delusional, so lonely, mama nem, and fans if you

have it. The whole album is solid. There were only a few songs that were B rated for me. The rest were A's at

minimum

Tech N9ne is NOT a juggalo. He has said many times he supports the "family" or whatever, but he does not consider himself a juggalo at all.

he puts more songs on his album because there are no limits to what tech can talk about, he is lyrically relentless...it shouldnt matter how many tracks are on his album...it proves that he is real

Album is dope as hell, like Tech flow like his dark lyrics.... but i have to rank that 4.5 not 5 because a few bad songs like fuck food Lil wayne is joke and also t-pain, also pornographic is weak...

really like most of beats there fits perfectly to horror atmosphere. And the 5 best songs are Am I a Psycho, He's a Mental Giant, If I could, Mama Nem, Overtime
