Table For Glasses: A slow, beautiful introduction song. However, not all may like it because of its slow tempo. 8/10
Lucky Denver Mint: Featured in the movie "Never Been Kissed," and was the bands first single to recieve any recognition. A great song, with some nice drumming. 8/10
Your New Aesthetic: Probably the punkiest sounding song on the album. Harder and much darker then anything else on it. Singing some **** about taking back the radio. Still, a superb song. 8.5/10
Believe in What You Want: Amazing chorus, guitars sound almost too good. "Dancing, in plastic sheet of snow, do you believe in what you want?"
Definatly one of the best on the album, and one of the best they have ever produced. 9.5/10
A Sunday: Took me a while to get into this song, but it enventually grew on me. Quite soft and mellow. Not for everyone, but works for me. Almost a snowy sort of feel to it. 7.5/10
Crush: Awesome song. Starts off strong and never lets up. The most energetic on the album. Makes you want to get up and do something. A superbly crisp feel to it. 9/10
12.23.95: This song is very unique. Jimmy Eat World seem to have a fetish for doing AWESOME christmas songs. I liked this song right from when i first heard it. A sleepy, drowsy sort of feel to it. Very catchy none the less. I think it's one of the best on the album. 9/10
Ten: Didn't really like this song at first, but after more listens it grew on me. The verses are great. I like the drumming. Another soft sounding song. 7/10
Just Watch the Fireworks: This is the best song on the cd, but it's nearly impossible to choose since all of them are so good. Very emotional, quite long as well, around 7 mins, but is totally enjoyable all the way through. Lovely violin playing. 10/10
For Me This Is Heaven: Matching Just Watch The Fireworks was a daunting task, but somehow, they did it. Second best song on the album. the piano playing fits in perfectly with the guitar playing and drumming. "Can you still feel the butterflies?" Awesome lyrics as well. 10/10
Blister: Has a sing-a-long type feel to it. Much harder then the previous too, and a nice wakeup from the serene brilliance of the two before. 8/10
Clarity: The title song. Jumps on the bandwaggon of amazing Jimmy Eat World songs. The same type of feel as Crush. 8.5/10
Goodbye Sky Harbor: The start of the song sounded very, very promising. Unfortunatly, 10 minutes of drums gets pretty boring. This is the obvious choose for gayest hunk of **** of the album. Cut out that 10 minutes of drums and you could have another amazing song. 3/10
OVERALL: 10/10 - Easy desicion. Best cd in my collection. An amazing emo album. Incredible. :thumb:
