Release Date: 2005 | Tracklist

Eden Fire is comprised of ten tracks broken down into three different segments. The praise for the band's previous two EPs Black Lotus and Extinction was so high that the band felt it necessary to include the works on their debut release so that all the masses could get a chance to hear the material, since the EPs are now out of print. The songs were re-worked in order to meet the band's new standards and the tracks were completely re-recorded along with three brand new tracks. The result is an album broken down into three segments, the "Helix Reign - Chronicals of a Broken Covenant" section, the "Extinction - A Sinwar Quadrilogy" section, and the "Black Lotus - The Shadow Flora" section. Each segment has a continuous theme/concept throughout its tracks.

Listeners will no doubt wonder why in the world Sonic Syndicate wasn't signed to a major record label. The possibility to sign the band was largely responsible for the creation of Pivotal Rockordings, the record label they signed with. Upon asking the owners of the record label what they think about Eden Fire, "we couldn't possibly have put out a better first release" tends to be the exact response.

Current Line-up:
Richard Sjunnesson (1984) - Vocals
Roger Sjunnesson (1983) - Guitar
Robin Sjunnesson (1989) - Guitar
Andreas Martensson (1985) - Keyboard
Karin Axelsson (1986) - Bass and Backup Vocals
Kristoffer Backlund (1984) - Drums and Backup Vocals

Recomendations:
-Jailbreak (amazing song, check this one out)
-Misanthropic Coil

This is a great band to listen to for fans of In Flames.

This review said absolutely nothing. You need much much much more detail, instead of just some history on the band and cd.

Yeah you'll definitely want to edit this up and add more info, or else it might have to go. You can always resubmit it when you have more time/you have your thoughts gathered. There just isn't much for a review here.
Also, you need to submit an album cover.

Some pointers:

- Talk about the music, ie the instruments, what the songs actually sound like.

- Give positives and negatives about the album, talk about album flow, catchiness, musical skill, depth, etc

- You don't have to give the band lineup, that can just go on the band page.

BTW, your first paragraph is great

IF/STYE is way out of their league in my opinion, at least IF are not posers and produce real music

STYE is a good album, it´s just painfully average compared to their earlier stuff

Btw those 2 EPs that you mentioned........ are fucking demos. That's why they are out of print.
