Review Summary: Asking Alexandria....little brother....
'Modern day metalcore is a saturated genre of music. Most bands that do fall into this genre of music sound very similar in nature. Constant breakdowns and barely any individuality when it comes to riffs. Bass guitar falls into the same problem. Most bands that fall into the metacore genre is inaudible and would be better off not being created in the first place.
Some record companies fall into the pit hole when they pick up bands which same copy styles. From Garbage bands such as 'Asking Alexandria',' I See Stars', 'DayShell', 'I The Breather' and finally 'Capture The Crown'.
Capture the Crown Debut 'Til death' falls repeatably in this regard.
The album is full of metalcore "cliches".......what do I mean by that? The songs have a lot of breakdowns in it. Most of the time I listened to this album, I couldn't for the life of me, figure out what track I was on without looking at my ipod. The vocal work is pathetic and not even worth listening to for a single second of your existence.
The guitar work....what guitar work? . . . besides, constant chugging and guess what? . . . more breakdowns.
Drumming on the album is familiar territory if you listened to any and I repeat any other "metalcore" band. As such, the album is an overuse of ideas.
Don't play this album.....
