The White Stripes throughout the years have produced many fantastic albums such as elephant and white blood cells. I myself really enjoy the white stripes. This album was much more experimental than most of their albums and that’s saying something for the Stripes. For me the album was too experimental. Many of the tracks on this album are just annoying and I have a tolerance and actually kind of like Jack Whites voice but it was just too much sometimes on this album.

As far as tracks go this album had 4 solid tracks. Blue Orchid has the essentials for a white stripes album a good beat some nice guitar and plain simple drums. Some tracks in this album are just terrible and I cannot stand to listen too such as the Nurse or Instinct Blues. I find that this album is some good songs and a bunch of fillers. Take Take Take is probably my favorite off the album because it has a nice beat and some great lyrics too. Many of these songs are completely piano driven such as two of the better songs my doorbell and the Denial Twist.

As for the rest of this album it's something only real hard core fans would enjoy and I am not an ultra fan but I do enjoy most of their music. Maybe the reason I don't really like this album is because I bought it when I was newer to the stripes. Like most white stripes albums the drumming is nothing special but from what I hear Meg is a really amazing drummer live whether this is true or not I don't know. As far as the instrumental work goes it is not great but it's the White Stripes who cares.

One thing I can say is if you are new to the White Stripes do not get this album. You will be allotting better off buying something like Elephant of White Blood Cells. Overall this album fails to deliver the White Stripes fullest potential as far as rock goes because they can be so good at times but this album is a failure when we were expecting so much from the White Stripes. I leave you with the advice that if you are greatly into the White Stripes buy it because it does have some good songs but don't buy it if you're just getting into them.

Pros
Jack White as a whole
Have some decent songs
Good for hardcore fans

Cons
A huge disappointment
Too many types of filler
Drumming?
Fails to deliver the rock side of the Stripes

Recommended Tracks
Blue Orchid
My Doorbell
The Denial Twist
Take Take Take

Why must you disagree with me on matters other than Fall Out Boy's musical ability?
