Review Summary: Bludgeoned to death with tickles. In this adorable little EP, Osiah attempt to mimic their big brother Brand of Sacrifice with negligible potency, but look corny doing so.
Le breakdowns? Present.
Le legos? Check.
Le diapers? Check.
Le slapped to death drumset: so repetitively smashed to the point of monotony that the parents run into the room frantically to see what’s going on? Check.
The only remotely unique song is Hues Refract where a decent, thick atmosphere is composed to buff up the blistering singing. In fact, it’s quite awesome and unexpected, like receiving a hug attack. Aside from that, Osiah is covered in hand me down clothes which aren’t fashionable. Try as they might to look like their older brother, by going to the thrift shop to buy cheap clothes with their allowance, their swag is adorable instead of metal. They may have riffs and clear drum skills, but while wearing those hand me down clothes they look silly.
My final words: Osiah are a dime a dozen deathcore act with riffs and drums interchangeable with other bands. However, they don’t have the wizzle wums of Darko or the fancy choral vocals of Brand of Sacrifice. Indeed, there is nothing that will surprise. There’s not even any noodling, just some typical deathcore riffs, yet none of them stand out. By the third track you will be bored. By the last track you will be vaguely interested because it is the only interesting track. In fact, this EP is so derivative that I am shocked people still produce music this audaciously meh. Osiah are guilty of boring me, which is punishable by death - sorry, not sorry.

Pizza has been writing great reviews for years and yet I see a big ole goose egg in that reviews slot from you, my friend. I know it's easy to talk shit from behind a scream but he comes out here almost every day and has a good time writing about music and I feel like that's the great thing about this site. I have nothing against the review guy personally. I just think that's a very lazy, poorly written review. He put zero effort into it but acts all surprised when he gets called out for it. In all honesty the guy absolutely sucks at writing reviews. Luckily this website allows to downvote lazy trash reviews.

If you can point out some grammatical errors, you could’ve started there - just one example. However, rather than providing any meaningful insight behind your insults upon insults you expect me to just shut the fuck up and take them. Your opinion alone is not going to magically make me think all of my reviews are trash, and neither will I stop knowing how much time/effort I put into my reviews (which is a lot). You wasted your words, and now I know your name and your game. Any further incursions and you will be reported for your bullying tactics. The world needs less disparaging, entitled bullies.
