Ok, so basically this is like one of the ***in best Iron Maiden albums there are. This is the first Iron Maiden album that featured Bruce Dickinson on vocals, and he does a damn good job too. Ok now onto the actual tracklisting review:
1. Invaders-Starts off with a good intro and then turns into a very catchy riff. Good bass work on this song too. Its one of the most noticeable bass riffs on the album. 4.8/5
2. Children Of The Damned-Starts off with a pretty simple, yet catchy acoustic riff in the beginning and then some electric work is done before the verses. After the 2 verses, comes the parts that pick up, and some nice finger tapping soloing, and Bruce does some whoaing which is awesome. Ends with a awesome scream. 5/5
3. Prisoner-Starts off with a clip from the classic tv show, and then some awesome drumming and then some very catchy riffs. In the prechorus, Steve does some perfect basslines. The chorus is very rebellious talking about wanting to be a free man. 4.9/5
4. 22 Acacia Avenue-Starts off with a strumming E chord then turns into a awesome riff. The bridge is definitely the highlight of the song. One of my personal favorites off the album. 5/5
5. Number Of The Beast-Starts off with a passage from Revelations in the Bible and turns into a catchy palm-muted riff. Bruce lets out a ***in awesome scream that lasts like 20 seconds. Then the catchy verses come and Bruce starts singing about Satan's rituals and then nice bass work. Ends with the beginning riff. 5/5
6. Run To The Hills-Starts off with an awesome drum intro by Clive and then comes a awesome intro riff by Dave complimented by Steve. Turns into a thrashy verse and chorus. In the bridge, Bruce does some awesome whoahs and then the chorus repeats. 5/5
7. Gangland-Definitely the filler track of the album. Pretty cool intro but the bass and guitars dont agree. I give this the lowest rating on the album. 3.5/5
8. Total Eclipse-My second to least favorite song on the album. Has a pretty cool riff in the beginning. Good chorus too. 4.3/5
9. Hallowed Be Thy Name-OK, this is the definitive metal song all around no joke. Anyone who even knows what the term metal means has to know this song. Definitely the best song on the album. Awesome singing by Bruce all around. And for this i give it a...... 10/5
