 | garas That one from 2015 is amazing, and the new one is also just as perfect - in my opinion. Everything was given for me: atmosphere, super polished post-black riffs and the expected weirdness.

 | peartnoy I entered it as a full length because it works as a full album split into two parts (Chapter I and II). As an LP it's short but idk Novelist's new release is like 5 minutes longer. Both make sense I guess.

| DungeonBoy Nice, dude, just gave it a full listen. Sounds good, you guys are starting to sound a lot more cohesive. A Devil on Yonder Ridge was my favorite track on here, I found it the most interesting and best sounding, really dug the vox on it and that verse riff is sick. Good stuff

 | Pon Forgot to tell you I got around to Skaphe3. Worth hearing if you're into the disso sound like I am, but they still sound like DsO-lite to me.

| Pon Yeah I couldn't stand the reverb-soaked woofy drums but the EP fixed that. Neither did anything all that interesting song-writing-wise so I've not been super keen to check their new one even tho I was aware of it. But if you think it's worth listening to then I'll make sure to get around to it.

| DungeonBoy Super vague dude, I saw them live recently with Falls of Rauros, and I didn't get any sort of western vibes from them at all. I don't really get it, they are really good live, but I feel like they kinda miss the mark on what they are conveying, or at least how i interpret how they should sound lol.

| lalchimiste My harmonica playing is really meh and I haven't been practicing in a while. I play spoons and feet percussion pretty OK, but as far as folk instruments go I'm best at acoustic guitar. I've been practicing my harsh vox a lot lately and I've gotten quite good at it. I've been practicing drums also so my drum programming has gotten miles better as well

 | manosg Really? Not a big Enya fan (I'm a huge Loreena McKennitt fan) so I didn't pick that. I did get though some mid-'90s doom/death vibes and melodies which I love and really made a big difference in how I perceived their album.

| XfingTheSullen Well for one thing - the vox are indeed a bit too loud, especially compared to those in "delusion". Maybe turning them down a couple decibels would be better.

As for the cleans then well, I personally don't think there's much wrong with them as a listener. I've heard worse performances of mine, nothing to be ashamed of here I feel :D

| XfingTheSullen Ok, I listened through all the six songs and I gotta say it was a veritable pleasure! Your producer has mad skills, he's really made the vox sound amazing. This is a legit 3.0-3.5 EP we have here I think. To be fair though, after listening to the clean section in the last trakc, I feel it fits quite well and builds up well for the finale. I'd actually lobby for keeping it in, but it's your call of course
