| Feather well.. I haven't spent much time with S/T so I will go check that out more!
| Feather The Canyon is my fave, but also their most 'different'. The entire record is less polished, the songs are less immediate/catchy, just the black sheep in their discog. They barely play it live AT ALL. In fact they have already played their 2023 album more live than The Canyon which is from 2017 lol
| Dedes Yo dawg you ever jam Disembodied
| calmrose I am with you in saying You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To is Knocked Loose's best, it's just too good
| Scoot https://open.spotify.com/track/6Ti90ncrkMrzoKtOlJLKP4?si=EHbHAPpWSl6U4VUvglCltQ
| JesperL damn yeah that greyhaven ep slaps, pulling me in waay more than their last alb! and glad ur digging you wish, it's why i called it post nothing gaze hehe
| JesperL hi stellar jay u should check the new you wish album, it's good post nothing gaze, best song is called stellar jay!!
| Scoot dude the endless fun you can have trying to get it to combine the most ridiculous genres. i agree it's a watershed moment as a music creator
| Scoot https://app.suno.ai/song/2b89ed5e-9f93-402d-8a9a-2ca031da9554 black metal
| Scoot holy ****. have you seen suno.ai? i made this with prompts https://app.suno.ai/song/8aff6bf6-73e2-481e-88a7-8d0a7143c2d7 told it to make a song with technical death metal, polka, and barbershop quartet vocals about coffee lmao
| Dedes Lol already did mate, yeah it's really goddamn meaty and I actually love how Boundaries are carving their own niche in a scene of metalcore that is imo a bit redundant i.e Alpha Wolf, Kublai Khan, uhhhhhhh some other band I don't remember. Tries to be heavy and actually has the ****ing CONVICTION
| Spec It?s on the agenda for the morning. Appreciate it my man.
| Futures that would be sick man. don't have any friends that are into metal haha. which is why despite listening to metal since high school i've never been to a show.
| bighubbabuddha you are now 8 away from 2222, damn my bro is going backwards
| Futures nice man! can't think of anyone else from here. ah yeah that's up there. i'm also somewhat in the middle of nowhere here in stevens point. i grew up like 30 minutes north of milwaukee.
| Dedes May my fame continue to spiral forth. I soon start my position as owner of Decibel.
| Dedes Yep lol it is p rippin, honestly Knocked Loose only get more visceral and meaty as time goes on. Adore the greater incorporation of gutturals, almost like it more than anything Bryan does tbh
| calmrose still can't believe how good the album is sweet damn
| Scoot https://open.spotify.com/track/6d3hYluFN9nyRpPdU9EHxC?si=TZdSp6dZSwGyvNPrFUX5Fg ever jam this album before? absolutely slaps
| Dedes Fair enough. It definitely continues in the vein of Upon Loss albeit I wouldn't say it hits on the level of either of those two tracks which I mean in no insulting manner, those two songs are a hard ****ing bar to clear lmao. Deep In the Willow may very well be my fav KL song if only for the "KNOCKED LOOSE MOTHER****ER" line
| trilo that style does nothing for me unfortunately, and the production made it so hard to listen to :[
| Dedes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5ZwQWHD-6M Here's that good good Knocked Loose baby. Live recording of Blinding Faith and it ****in rips lol.
| Dedes Its the 3rd tag u PLEBIAN also its more like if Pantera discovered NAILS and made an angry D-beat record that's surprisingly sad when you dig into the lyrics (Blessed by the Burn is about the vocalists GF commiting suicide in large part due to her fathers abuse, incredibly blunt and tangibly ANGRY album)
| bellovddd EXCUSE ME. can you please 5 eulogy for those still here. I will keep posting this until you do. for the love of Brendan. do it.
| Dedes Ever jam Left Behind?
| efp123 Oh, wow I didn?t know you knew I was in that!! You were definitely right though
| efp123 Dude your writing skills are awesome. Talent you can put in your back pocket should be recognized. Between the Casey, and Whirr review. Really digging that. Also, I really really like this Casey album damn
| brainmelter yea it really was like that, I was out before I knew it and just woke up hella sore, I was able to go home later that day heh. 3 days out and im healing fast, but thanks again for reaching out Jay I appreciate it!
| brainmelter yes I am in recovery now, thank you :) they ended up performing a Laparoscopic appendectomy on me. 3 small incisions instead of one big open surgery
| Cormano what happened with your Casey rev?
| bellovddd difference between heaven and hell might be my next 5 on counterparts. its so close haha
| Dedes Lol I love them. Kinda nasally but imo they sound FROTHING. I could imagine not digging them, they're a little obnoxious.
| Dedes Lol tbh they're not the most apt comparisons imo, specifically Buster is incredible but it's not nearly mathcore enough to compare too much to them. I guess if you took the sludge elements of Gaza as well as the insane misanthropy and added much, much lower tunings that'd be akin to what Admiral Angry is like.
| Dedes ever jam Admiral Angry
| Feather Totally agree, thanks Jake! I'll be messaging you next time there's any similar Chicago shows to suggest good parking areas and make up for standing you up by buying you a beer. So pumped for the few of you that went that you got to hear Brought from the water. Such a stellar track.
| Feather Brought to the Water is at least a top 3 Deafheaven song for me! Insanely jealous. Bummed I missed it but definitely for the best.. her grandpa ended up passing so glad she got to get out and see him instead. Sorry for not giving you the heads up so you didnt have to waste your time looking for me! You'll have to get out to the next Touche show.. traffic/parking can be quite a nightmare here lol
| Dedes Also great OSDM run lmao god sometimes those buzzsaw/murky riffs hit. Def check Revolting-Monoliths of Madness for a supremely fun modern OSDM band if you really dig that buzzsaw Dismember tone.
| Dedes Lol it's so wonderfully zany. I was playing league when I first jammed it and gave it a pause by track 2 cause it was simply too freaky and wild and uncomfortable to not give a dedicated listen. What's wild is so many of these sounds aren't even programmed. It's all one dude just utilizing odd objects i.e for the t/t intro he used a straw and grated it through a hole in a piece of tin with a contact mic to pull the sound off. I love noise sampling in that vein man.
| Feather How was the show... gf's grandpa isn't doing well and ended up having to drive out to the suburbs to see him with her. Bummer, but will be more opportunities to catch, deafheaven and touche again.
| Feather Off-white sweater with a big blue bunny on the back and that says RIOT. Dark green hat. Feel free to say hi if you see me! I?ll be on the lookout for a tall flesh water guy
| Feather Ayyyy I?ll be on the lookout for you! Thanks for the identifiers. I?ll shout if you in a bit once I get home and change lol
| Dedes Oh dude it's actually such a new wave of heavy that it makes me rethink just how well realized intensity in metalcore can be. There's such an impressive slew of influences ranging from Converge to Nails to FOH to straght ****ing death industrial. Also apparently Embodiment of Grief is a continuation of Whispers of Your Death and follows the process of grief never leaving even over time. Real sad s***.
| trilo Angels Feast On Flies. the back half of that song is magical. the whole album is amazing though. they doubled down on everything i wanted them to. such a cool combination. very close to a 4.5 to me. some of the best modern metal production too. Hawks is on crack hahahah
| Dedes Oh dude you just gotta be full unabashed high energy as ****. Anyone who can't appreciate that isn't worth your effort imo. No sense in trying to fill loneliness with someone who's gonna make you feel more lonely in the end. Get that cutie partner
| Dedes Hip Hop own dude. Tbh I haven't jammed much lately, been on a kick of "stuff that makes me wanna gouge my own eyes out" and "stuff that makes me hit meaty leg press". Never thought i'd be so concerned with how I look in a gym but for the first time in 3 years I might be gettin with a girl and she works at the Planet Fitness. By the blessing of the gods I hope this works lol
| Dedes Yo dude you ever jam Final Fight
| trilo dude same. hovering human head drones is amazing. i hope they lean even more into the sci fi synth stuff with the brutal dm and will?s gurgz. big dm aoty contender even with the stiff competition
| AsleepInTheBack Be my guest friend! Fair warning: I?m also intending to write on it, but (knowing me) it?ll be another short snappy word salad, so a long boi for yourself sounds banging.
| twlight i hear that brotha, life is a rollercoaster but all we can do is try to make the right decisions and treat people correctly. no one ever regretted being kind. and Watch Out is my personal fav of thiers... its raw and No Transitory is like the greatest post hardcore song of all time... it's textbook. Crisis is phenomenal as well, we're lucky a band like them exists
| twlight Totally man. Hope your happier now and out of that s***ty experience. Crisis is an amazing album
| twlight Hey bro, wondering why you think Crisis is a 5?
| bellovddd hahaha these things are ****ed up! I'm gunna spin more of their albums now. its been a while since ive binged them
| bellovddd I am a fan of He Is Legend! That whole album is glorious! good rec
| calmrose i guess i'm just here to disappoint, sorry friend :[
| Feather Hell yeah man. What an awesome show if you havnt seen either. Both are two favorites of mine and they both put on kickass shows.
| Feather 100% I am catching Deafheaven and Touche there! You too? Should definitely meet up!
| Manatea Gimme a new release (that isn?t hail the sun) you want me to review man. I need some inspiration lol
| Hawks Looks awesome, will czech!
| Butkuiss Let?s start a hardcore band called Chip Skylark
| Storm In A Teacup Right on. I kinda feel like itd be a higher age group also doing that tho
| Storm In A Teacup Hey Jay I was just curious if you were being down on trans and younger people or did i read that wrong. It was surprising to see and i figured maybe you didnt mean it the way i read it?
| outliers yo dude check out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXqNwcrVq_Qsome epic sad boi
| Dedes Oh yeah it's lovely as hell, always heard the name tossed around and I immediately presumed it was like, some bedroom industrial project lol. Was shocked when it was more like an ethereal alt metal/slighttttly hardcore blend. I'm really tryna dodge the Deftones comparison but because it's an ez lazy explanation yeah it reminds me of Deftones lol
| Manatea Oh yes I?m very excited for that! That album is gonna slayyyyyyyyyy. I might write something quick on better lovers then, June was slow gotta get started
| Manatea Jay do a writeup on better lovers pls i want it
| calmrose I know, I don't know what's wrong with me lol :/, hoping it grows a bit more and that maybe I'm just not quite in the right mood at the moment with jamming it (if that makes sense)
| calmrose yoooooo check Ojne - Sogno #3 for more good 2023 skramz
| Dedes My guy jam new Burner right the **** now it's so meaty
| Manatea One Punch Man is hysterical but I?ll have to check the other one. Honestly if you haven?t read Fullmetal Alchemist, you should. That?s my number 1. Im super hype for Jonny Booth and Better Lovers but that?s all I can see in my near future lol
| Manatea lol nice, Im a tad older (32) but still love that show, could never get into ed edd n eddy though. Bebop on the other hand? top five anime. And Im doing good! Summer, super busy with work and all. Trying to find something to write about and failing hah
| Manatea Lmao thanks man. I keep meaning to tell you that your avi reminds me of my best tv memories as a kid/early teen so we?re even lol. How you doin?
| Dedes Hey man you like good music oh you do cool ok jam Blades Drawn by Age of Panic it's like Knocked Loose and Zao made sweet sensual love and their child also decided they wanted to be Gorgoroth
| SteakByrnes https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/86950/The-Amity-Affliction-Not-Without-My-Ghosts/ I reviewed it lmao
| SteakByrnes Not really sure what my favorite is I still gotta spin it a bunch more times haha, but I spun the ever loving s*** out of It's Hell Down Here before the album came out
| SteakByrnes Yea fr, they just sound so revitalized and it rocks. I also hope they don't pull a fast one and have the rest of the album be ass lol
| SteakByrnes YES dude I am SO hyped for it, I haven't been this hype for something in a while, not even IA had me this hyped lmao. I really do feel like it could be a 4.5 or even a 5
| JesperL hell yeah, glad you liked it!! and u bet, i have had it dibbed for a while haha :]
| JesperL hi check sign language! i think you'll dig :]
| Dedes Hm, actually that's never a connection I had made but like I see it? The less abrasive vocals for sure give heavvvy CoP vibes. Glad you dug the atmosphere at least, I love stuff that's oppresive and grimy and wildly uncomfortable and my ****ing lord does Loved and parts of Null do that for me
| Dedes NULL is my favorite thus far. Definitely not an album for a bright sunshiny day however, might just make you wanna bring out the ole toaster and bathtub.
| MarsKid I'm introverted AND socially awkward, which is a helluva disaster cocktail lol, means I am both incapable of and afraid of starting conversations. I can definitely talk a lot when I open up, but it's hard for me to reach that point. Daoboys show was indeed fire as f*ck though!
| Dedes Yo you ever jam KEN Mode
| MarsKid That does not sound cash money amigo, but I'm glad you're still getting through it. You know the ol' shoutbox is open my dude. I'm doing good! Felt a bit down lately but saying ****it and going to throw down with the Daoboys tonight, why not
| MarsKid Jay babe, it has been too long, how are you my man?
| climactic definitely isshin, probably took me close to 100 tries over 3 days. so ****ing fun though, definitely brutal, but i didnt get annoyed/frustrated like i do in other fromsoft games, the game is very fair and has great balancing imo. great shinobi owl definitely took me a ton of tries too. sadly i got too far along in the game and missed my chance to fight owl father and demon of hatred, so i'll need to do those in ng
| Scoot haven't been back to it in some time, and i liked the production better on the ep. i do still like it though
| Icebloom Well that's a compliment I didn't expect, thanks! I guess my decision years go to make a different account because my old user name was stupid finally pays out...
| Wildcardbitchesss Just now back in Hel actually with Kratos and Atreus this time. I?m done with the side quests I gotta get this game done. Im at 37 hours lmao
| Wildcardbitchesss Just now saw my shoutboxPretty sure I?m at that ?point of no return? a lot of games have because everyone keeps telling me to upgrade my gear because I might not have another chance.Right now it?s saying ?Return to Sindri?s When Ready? that sounds pretty definitive to me.And god Freya?s side quest about her and Odin?s wedding was ****ing phenomenal. That side mission was better than most main missions in other games.
| Dedes Oh dude he hits some ****ing wild gutturals on the turn of a friggin dime. Different EP but Snow-Sleep has a groovy ass sort of breakdown where the dude goes like, whale noises low lmao. Honestly vocals are easily the draw of the band for me rn
| Dedes Yo dawg you ever jam Kardashev
| Wildcardbitchesss Unfortunately got covid so I?ve been laid up just feeling like s***The last thing I remember is killing this dragon with Freya
| Wildcardbitchesss I don?t wanna post spoilers in that ****in static dress thread, but Freya is straight up one of the best characters in all of gaming imo. That boss fight was incredible
| Scoot https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=442410 this is right up your alley
| Dedes Oh yeah I adore it man, such an oddly heartwarming and transportive record. Feels extremely out of place in the modern core scene but in both a refreshing and nostalgic way? I dig it hard
| Dedes Dude Ghost Chant are like the Counterparts torchbearers and I am LIVING for it also most certainly will check! Jamming Eulogy for like the 20th time since it came out and those phlegmy snarls that pop out from time to time make me want a Brendan Murphy blackgaze band
| Dedes Oh yeah I feel that on the whole "letting go of toxic people" sentiment. If someone exists solely to exploit you for their benefit then **** em who needs em. You are the only person you will ever definitely have. Still hard not to get absolutely sucked in when you find a real connection as a friggin hardcore heartthrob lmao (i.e me). Also Brenny is GOATED human and you should check Ghost Chant they're like Casey and Counterparts ****ed and made beautiful sadboi children
| Dedes Damn dude around the same time for me as well, got into them in like 2014? I was a self depreciating 16 y/old baby back bitch and that has changed only moderately so lmao, always gonna be the rock that weather's my storms. On a side note Brendan Murphy calling his shorts his little pants is irrationally hilarious to me
| Dedes Same girl is the one who got me into them and Brand of Sacrifice lol
| Dedes Dude honestly this album has truly cemented why I have such a ridiculously deep connection with Counterparts. Every meaningful or tragic moment in my life, unintentionally perhaps, I identify with everything they say. I recently became friends with a girl with cervical cancer and chronic kidney disease and I have a fat schoolgirl level crush on her so Whispers of Your Death ****ing ruins me. Everything else does to on subsuquentally lower levels. Also glad ya dug Dealer at least somewhat
| Dedes It's p menacing mate, honestly some of the most immense breakdown game I've heard in a hot minute. Also new Counterparts ripped me a new asshole as usual Jesus **** the tears they were a-flowin'
| Mort. metalcore at the top of your pie chart but youve never jammed coalesce? shame on you!!! but yeah check Functioning on Impatience and then revolution. those two are essential, rest is optional.
| Dedes You ever jam Dealer?
| Scoot https://open.spotify.com/album/2rGm2kY8DU5qKB2gwmuc5Q?si=Y6lB5oVDTzWhylQNJFkRhA

| Cormano no worries dude, I am indeed planning on doing that as soon as I'm thru with everything that dropped this weekend lol but I'm looking forward to it
| furpa New AOF is very good! Vinyl came in today. Best thing I can say about it is they feel inspired as **** again and it definitely doesn't feel like they're doing it for anybody but themselves, which is great even if I like some tracks more than others. Pretty ambitious new sound too, definitely the longest songs they've ever put out. A lot jammier lol
| Dedes Hell yeah brother Colorado is gorgeous. Only been there once on a stopover from here in PA to Santa Fe but seeing the Rocky's peirce the sky is an imagined etched into my brain. Flying's dope, being so high above the world but some people are mortified of it, hopefully that isn't you! Also I been good, jam Carly Rae Jepson, left nostril is filled to the brim with bloodclots from constant nosebleeds lmao good s***
| Dedes Hey yo how it how it do
| cloakanddagger Yeah the new Static Dress is great! Gave me that underoath-core fix that underoath sadly haven't been able to do with voyeurist.
| kevbogz **** man how?d u know? tbh i?m actually leaning towards a 4.5, just need a solid headphones listen for confirmation :O
| brainmelter honestly it?s number two in trending and this site and others won?t be quiet about it so I just checked it. very nice review tho
| kevbogz i haven't listened to it on my headphones yet only in the car v_v but it's incredibly solid u know this
| brainmelter and yo the duet with luc and will at the end of insects !! stupid question mark bug
| brainmelter Oh I feel that, low key I might like the live version of glitch cannon a bit more ?. I smiled when the t/t came on because I?m like ?ohhh this song is going to be the intro?
| brainmelter yes and I like how it gets emotional a minute in lmao. it feels so good to hear the real versions of these songs like the intro song and glitch cannon
| SaveBandit Dude! I actually downloaded it a couple days ago because of you. Just haven't quite gotten around to listening to it. I should have some time today or tomorrow to check it out, i'll hit up the thread.
| trilo it's so good. the melodies on Cryogenic Dreamworld hnnggggg and then Luc comin' in hot on the next track fackkkk
| trilo weird i'm able to see the whole album when i browse his folder. i think i'm sharing it now too. my username is trilogique. also the waar guitar on a lofty grave is feckin sick
| trilo it's on soulseek if you have that. search artificial brain celestial cyst then look for users eishen and ekhein. right click the song name and click browse folder. you can dl it from there
| trilo new arty brain is out there!!! if you're one to ride the high seas yarrr. i can't control myself so i'm listening rn
| tyman128 I?m currently on a road trip back home from college, so I?ll be working on it during the drive and send it your way tonight with my comments once I finally get home brother
| tyman128 just read it over and I dig it! gonna sit on it for a bit and try to see how we can cut it down and make it flow a bit more!
| tyman128 oh yeah dude, take your time for real man! if you need a second look over or some help, feel free to send it to me and I can proof it or helpyou out. (email is tyman128@gmail.com)
| tyman128 yessirrr, I?m hype to read it brother! might also do my own review later in the week because I?m vibin with this
| tyman128 you gonna be giving SD a review?
| JeetJeet mannnnn its all I can think about. I've been trying not to overplay all the singles so they'll still be fresh when I hear the album but I still listen to them a lot lol. Cant wait man I've been so hype for this release.
| Scoot https://consumerdeathproposal.bandcamp.com/album/dont-touch-that-dial-now this is an old demo of mine, you might dig the riffs. bringing it back soon
| Scoot https://open.spotify.com/album/3cV26nJI8p7mK2ixuAWmTC?si=CKqfJj_3SkCHqeW6xUi7jg
| tyman128 honestly no clue how lolll, I don't remember how I did itI had bought stuff from them before without issues
| SteakByrnes righteous, I'll hop aboard the hype train then :]
| SteakByrnes You know it bro, I was goin alien mode that whole time lol, and rad when does the new one drop?
| SteakByrnes haha hell ya brother, jammed them with a friend and they're pretty rad. Super cool lead work on those albums
| tyman128 what's up man! so I preordered through the UK store and paid hella shipping haha... the record was like $25 but the shipping alone was about $23 so it was an investment
| Dedes Yeah the album rules man. Legit one of the best Midwest emo style bands I've ever come across if you can call it that. They kinda blur the lines between that and post hardcore tbh
| Dedes Ay dawg ever jam The Casket Lottery
| JeetJeet Yea their new song is catchy af bro I'm liking it a lot. So ****in hyped. I was gonna post it in the Prologue review thread but idk what happened to it, did you your review?
| Assemblage https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xlho57 . You have to watch the whole thing.
| Kusangii I just had to rent a little lol. I'm a miserable bitch rn. What's happening in your life?
| Kusangii I'll turn 30 in less then a month and I have to live with my mother because of this sickness. I see 99% of my old friends being successful, having careers, friends, families, houses etc. And here I am, a ****ing addict with no achievements or meaning whatsoever, sitting in my ****ing room all day in front of my computer doing nothing. I would've also been rich from my crypto investments if I didn't get sick. Had to sell them to pay rents and all that. What a life man.
| Kusangii Yeah sorry man for not replying. I'm just in unimaginable pain right now. I've completely ruined my body and I don't think I will ever recover. My brain is dead and my feelings are non-existent. I feel like a ****ing robot. I can't even ****ing process food. Been in this state for almost a year now and it's driving me insane. I'm slowly losing my mind (again). Only thing that keeps me going is music really. I ****ing hate drugs, man.
| MonumentsOfParalysis I'm all about that quality music chat! I've actually been a lurker for many years and this site changed my music taste completely, so I decided to finally hop aboard the Sput train
| Kusangii Damn. OCD sounds rough. Is there any treatment or medicine for it? Can't relate to it fully but I've had very bad addiction problems. Just get very impulsive at times when I can't handle emotions. My parents did a lot of right and wrong. My dad thought it was more important for me to play football than myself. Probably wanted me to be a star. Imagine forcing your kid to do something he doesn't wanna do, and go to a place where he's getting bullied. Great job. How do you tackle anxiety?
| Kusangii I would say that anyone under 25 is still a baby tho, for real haha. You're still super young. Always remember that. We have a lot of time to **** up at this stage of our life. Some people peak when they're like 50. And men in particular usually peak in their 30s. But yeah, I really can't think of anything worse than depression. I'd maybe rather have a physical disability than that. The hardest thing for me personally is that I have such a hard time accepting that I've wasted my 20s.
| Kusangii Ah damn dude. I feel ya. Sometimes I genuinely feel like the loneliest man on earth too. Like no one truly understands me on a deeper level. I have a few friends though that are great. Close, meaningful relationships really helps. I'm guessing you've been exposed so bullying too? That stuff really ****s you up. Especially when you don't have any true support. My parents are both emotionally unavailable and I heard that's as damaging as physical abuse.
| Kusangii For real? My mother used to compliment me as a kid for being able to write crazy stories/comics/whatever in school work lol. I used to be very creative, confident and cool before depression. It's insane how much worse you become at everything because of it. Life is just brutal. Writing a metal album is still my dream tho. What dreams do you have?
| Kusangii Sorry for the late reply. How much would you say you play these days? And how many years have you played? I got my first drum kit in 2009 but haven't touched them in ages sadly. I try to sing and learn guitar/keyboard a bit now. Do you write any stuff besides lyrics?
| Kusangii No probs man. Dude I watch SM64 speedruners a lot on twitch actually. It's very entertaining to see the work people do to optimize the movement. I think I'll try it at some point. If you can find some buddies to play Mario Party on an emulator or something I highly recommend it, it's soo much fun. Do you play any instruments btw?
| Kusangii Oh, how could I forget MARIO PARTY 3 and Pokemon Stadium 2 mini-games? Some of my best memories in life is when I played those games with my friends. Every single time we played them it was a war between life and death. We almost destroyed our friendships because of it LOL
| Kusangii Doesn't Chrono Trigger also have an amazing soundtrack? I've heard a lot about it but never really dived deep into it. Secret of Mana is something that I've never heard actually. I played a lot of stuff from SNES to N64 to Gamecube. Those were the times man. My favorites would probably be the Super Smash series, Zelda OOT, Donkey kong country, Mario 64, Starfox, F-zero... and a bunch of lesser known games that I can't think of right now. Nintendo is GOAT tbh

| Kusangii Some wise man said that riffs heal all wounds. It doesn't sadly lol but it's kinda close actually. That's ****ing awesome that you still have your precious SNES. My one broke a few years ago so I had to get the retro console. I only have DKC1 and 3 though, the second one is the best both playwise and soundwise (HAHA) imo. Have you heard the restored versions of the songs on youtube? Also what other SNES games did you play as a kid?
| Uzumaki I am interested in that show; we?ll see how life plays its cards and see if things work out.
| Kusangii Hey dude. How is life treating you today? I LOVE your Donkey kong Country 2 5 btw. Did you play it as a kid? I've been jamming it super hard this year.
| Uzumaki Currently contemplating life and the world like you, but in good old Sheboygan.
| Uzumaki Yo bro, you in NE Wisco??? Whereabouts, my man?
| trilo sadly that Malignant Altar record was a little underwhelming for me on first listen. i?ll give it another spin and see if the riffage connects with me more. and i?m not a huge Immolation fan but that new track ripped! will def be checking the full length out m/ thanks for the rec
| onionbubs bro do not worry lol shoulda expected that sput would do some wack s*** like that. yea theyre just 320 but i think you have to go into spotifys settings and change it to 320 or smth, and im glad ur digging it im really stoked on the track order i made for this too lol made me grow to appreciate all these songs a lot more good to have a solid collection of all the songs while we wait for the full length without having to sit through interlude city
| onionbubs yea man theyre dope. my feelings on prologue kinda got reframed a bit when they came out and said its outtakes of the full length coming up, plus vague grew on me a lot over the course of the day. quite excited to see where they'll go
| trilo not sure if it's up your alley but check the new Plebeian Grandstand. DSO-y black metal with Daughters' YWGWYW/Altar of Plagues electronics/noise with weird jazzy stuff. quite the demented listen.
| tyman128 not quite as melodic as the closer, but there are some tracks that have some heavy riffs mixed with the melodic aspect of the band! a lot of the album focuses more on the djenty bouncy side, but the melodic moments still go fairly hard
| tyman128 what's up man! I got Happier about 3 weeks ago as an advance for CaliberTV and I'm working on some stuff for a review of it this Friday! It's a fantastic record
| kevbogz i gotta dust off the skinny jeans man. it's time...

| JeetJeet The whole Static Dress ep is on vk. just look up Static Dress on vk and you'll eventually find it on their page. Not sure if it'll be the same ep they drop in december but there's definitely some new songs on there that haven't come out yet.
| SaveBandit That sucks dude, sorry to hear that. I'm sure it'll turn around though. Seems like everyone has been in that rut lately though. I've been doing alright, just working and trying to get back into listening to music and checking in on sput hahah. Lot easier to do that when it's cold outside and I'm sitting at home anyway.
| SaveBandit How ya holding up brother? Haven't chatted with you in a bit I feel like.
| Dedes Dude Be'lakor are a friggin FORCE. I've been into them for the better part of 5 years now and consistently they stay a top 5 band of all time for me. Also new ETID is honestly probably the best thing they've ever done which I did not imagine myself saying after Low Teens. That scream midway through All This and War almost made me wet myself dude
| Dedes Brother it's all good, I won't throw hands just yet. On a side note holy ****ing damn dude these last two weeks gave had such sweet releases I feel like I need to jam some Creed just to stop my body from overheating lmao. Just jammed new Be'lakor and new Archspire and ooof they are the apex of their respective genres.
| trilo sir I must ask that you checketh new Sunless for tasty Colin Martson-produced dissodeath licks
| Dedes Yo nice Panopticon digs :0 also I jammed the album and i...definitely need to come back to it again. I love the it's like traversing a strange and warped nightmare, but something about the actual content of the music does feel jarring in a way I'm not sure I'm a fan of? Masstaden feels like it makes for good background music but like it's also meant to be intently absorbed. Idk man, it has my brain all boggled n stuff.
| Dedes Will do bruv. I think I heard them a year or so back but I don't think I particularly loved them? From what I remember they're kind of in that Meshuggah camp of music that I'm not super into but my memory is poor so tbh they might rule and maybe I'm a goof. I'll prolly jam them sometime today.
| trilo its such a cool track. that section where its just a medley of riffs from the first album is so neat. def my fav from the album
| Dedes Hey you like Japanese mathcore/emo ok yes ok jam this https://youtu.be/AU9u2Yu3G04 hyd btw
| trilo very excited. i hope there's more like kaos2 so i can vibe out to some sweet junzy atmoskronk
