[if ya didn't already know]) it kinda is, although i must admit fire! orchestra has grown off me quiet a bit since i revisited it last december. i still like it alot, the grooves are wonderful, but i REALLY don't like the WHIRLY WHIRLY WOOHOOOHOWHEOFIHAFI029YHI vocals anymore. its just grating and annoying.

| PorkchopExpress Also, I just checked your year-end list (good list, BTW) and as far as that Mafia 6 is concerned there's a version they released on iTunes (I'm sure you could find other ways) that does away with those DJ sample things and adds two good bonus tracks. Improves it significantly.

I'm no expert but I always considered rap to describe any music where someone is rapping which would include at the least parts of both grime and hip-hop, where hip-hop is specifically its own instrumental style - like i wouldn't call instrumental hip-hop "rap", it's just hip-hop, but grime with an MC is rap but not hip-hop. Is that wrong?

 | ShrillYell Give it a go anyway, just to say you've heard it. It's not terrible, some nice beats here and there, but it's held back by the man himself. His flow is tired and lyrics are pretty weak. And I wouldn't say at this point that he is justified to be as arrogant as Kanye in his lyrics. It really does feel like this album was another cash in. Not very inspired.
