| andcas it sounds like a bunch of s***. it's a good thing there's no ones livelihood at risk.
| greg84 The new VOD album is awesome. Props for digging it man.
| Winesburgohio Woah that would be outstanding man! Do you happen to have a paypal perchance?
| greg84 I don't think the users' taste is always that great, but it's a totally subjective issue of course. It's apparent though that some specific Sputnik bands get overhyped. A recent example: the new Coheed and Cambria LP which has like 3-4 good songs...

| greg84 Sup man. Good taste in music.
| silentpotato maybe you should ask yourself that question cuz u seem to be doing an awful lot of caring about what i think
| silentpotato you two have a problem or are you just gonna sit around drinking frappacinos and bitching like chipped ****s?
| andcas you'll always run into a bunch of losers flexing their inflating egos to random strangers every now and then online since there's no consequences for how they act.
| andcas since when did you ever need a legit reason to be a total cocksucker on this site?
| JokineAugustus You should check out Zao if you like Botch. Their my favourite band now. So do you even have time for a work schedule or what? With your insomnia I mean.
| Wolfhorde Haha, I actually meant in general. No matter whether that's on Sputnik, in the pub or during anything professional. But yeah I agree. Well, do you have FB or anything of the like? While it has obvious downfalls it's sometimes pretty practical for conversations.
| Wolfhorde Heh, I don't think that's 'old'. Pretty sure Hans and Omnipanzer are in a similar age category. I mean, yeah it's around 10 years older than I am but eh, one of the things I learned years ago was that age is NEVER necessarily an indicator for ANYTHING. But in the "grand scheme of things" I generally think somebody's age, heritage/nationality, sexuality and political affiliation is irrelevant in relation to the person itself.
| Wolfhorde is a problem as there is a lot of tension with certain groups (mainly immigrants from Turkey, Eastern European countries, Albania and such) that have created their own "isolated cultural groups" and neither one of the groups wants cooperation.
| Wolfhorde Oh, I'm not talking about that. I'm more talking about the fact that Europe is supposedly a but the countries within this rarely ever behave like an actual - it all seems like it's only pragmatism. And I think it's time that Europe starts putting down it's differences and actually becomes a proper. As for Germany - well partly. As I said, we've become incredibly liberal in certain aspects over the last couple fo decades. It's hard to say whether racism in general
| Wolfhorde (which especially on the internet or sites like this can be quite 'out of the ordinary')
| Wolfhorde ..integral for personal improvement as being able to step back from something that might look like an insult could be valid criticism. At least that's how I view it. Heh, didn't know that - first time I saw you write anything was in that Gaza thread and you just seemed like you knew a bit about what you were talking and you were able to go about things analytically.
| Wolfhorde And while 'gay rights' isn't as much of a big deal here juristically, there's still a certain connotation going with it in a lot of heads here. While on some level we've actually started to be more liberal than the U.S. in some aspects we also still have a lot of "traditionalist" tendencies (in both directions). I definitely agree, in a civilized discussion people should be able to distance themselves and critically evaluate. Although I think this ability can even be
| Wolfhorde Oh, it depends. In some things I think we might be a bit further but as you said we've got our own measles. While Europe is kind of 'together' the bond of European countries is often weak, I support the idea that we should actually be more 'connected' while still retaining a certain autonomy similar to the U.S. In Germany for example we're still struggling with political extremists, both right-winged and left-winged - as in full fledged pseudo-nazis and "anarchists", "punks", "marxists" ect.
| Wolfhorde Also, the ability to take distance and critically evaluate without taking things on a personal level is something a lot of people struggle with and I respect everyone who is able to do so. But yeah, I agree. There's a lot of s*** happening in terms of people interpreting the world around them to fuel their 'dystopian' ideology.
| Wolfhorde Quite frankly, I haven't seen a lot of the feminist movement here in Germany - maybe it's because I live in a state with less than 5 million inhabitants or maybe it's because more going on in bigger cities - I don't really know. I basically condone any shape or form of hyperbolic generalizations, may it be 'sexism' (in both directions), racism, chauvinism or any kind of radical ideology that enforces a pseudo-objective superiority or even violence against certain groups.
| JokineAugustus Sup dude. Its 2 in the morning where I'm from and I'm still on here (no life) Well you dig botch and metallica so were cool
| Wolfhorde You seem to know your s*** and be able to take a step back and critically evaluate things. I respect that, man.
