 | thejon93rd Chapter VII was intense as hell, but Animosity is no doubt their best. Alike yourself, the album is actually the best album I've ever of all-time as well. It's just such a striking, powerful album that grows upon repeat-listens. But Lowery's return was the best news for the band itself in years and if he writes more stuff this time we'll probably have something to contend with Animosity as their best album to date.

| thejon93rd If that's true about it being heavy (like Alpha), I hope that they can improve upon the lyrics this time around. Cold Day Memory was superb, and the new album would probably sound more-so like that one than Alpha upon it's release, but the only thing that was lacking were the quality lyrics from songs like "Waffle", "Xmas Day", "Gone", etc. Thanks for digging the pic, mate. :)

| Romulus hmm that's true, it does have a bit of a ten ton brick feel to it. when they get their heavy side right it is downright epic but i do like when they mix it up too. like assurance, aftermath, alone with the sea-- goddamn those are great songs.

| Romulus they set a tentative date of january 2011 but i don't know how set in stone that is. supposedly it's gonna be more of a vol. 1, angrier, heavier sound as opposed to the softer, alternative goodbye to the machine-type sound, which i think is pretty good news as i prefer the volumes a little bit. numbers was a little too straightforward for me honestly, but they still haven't announced whether it'll be on the album or not.

Alright, let me throw in alt rock I've listened to lately: Pure Reason Revolution - The Dark Third, Boom Boom Satellites - To The Loveless, Klaxons - Surfing the Void, Fireflight - For Those Who Wait, Secret and Whisper - Teenage Fantasy, The Tea Party. That's all that comes to mind for now argh. Tell me if you like any of them!

| AnotherBrick lol i tell them that all the time. those 3 songs were actually under the band name Warflower, and it was Ray and Brian's side project, but it sounds just like the mayan factor anyways so i just renamed it. I love the song Numbers...i wish i knew more of the lyrics to it

| AnotherBrick thats ****ing awesome to hear, had a feeling it'd be right up your alley...the doors are one of my favorite bands so on the last track when they bust out some doors lyrics i get chills everytime haha and ya i had the same problem with both of their albums...so i just settled with a 4.5 even though they both should be a 5
