And tbh, I haven't been as involved with staying current on music these past few years. I usually catch up towards the end of the year, but I find myself listening to a lot of the same stuff I've been listening to for years. | DaveyBoy I actually listened to more current music this year than the last few. I just haven't had the time to review. But you know me. I love embarrassing stuff, Not 1D though. What type of recos do you want. My best Brit album this year was London Grammar. Followed by new Los Campesinos, Biffy and Foals. Indie wise, I really liked Local Natives. My biggest surprise was that Captain Were Sinking LP.

| DaveyBoy Yeah, only heard it once thus far. I pretty much think what everyone will likely think. If I feel nice, it may be a 3.5. But it feels wrong as thats what I rated their debut. Even though I enjoy the debut to a 4 level, it was difficult to rate it that way when pulling it apart.

| DaveyBoy Its 1 am here and I have way too much adrenaline to go to sleep. Nerves were sky high 3 hours ago. We get multi screens down under so I was flipping between Saints and West Ham game. Thankfully, the 2 right teams went up. Strangely, Wigan were my defacto PL team in the Saints absence. Great to watch them doing what they are now doing too. Come August, it will be a different matter though.

I personally experienced the type where my friends were included (har har, I changed my dream because of that girl who's moving away irl to prevent her from getting harmed, so you can imagine how freaked out I was when I woke up). It really was weird and crazy and awesome and intriguing and in a way also scary at the same time.

Mm, how to say this now, it's like you're in charge in principle, and you can still change details, but at times, the so called story is or at times shall drift away from under your control. It's pretty freaky. But the fact is, basically all books about lucid dreaming say different things, so only the core details are agreed upon generally. The symbolism and building of dreams, those, for now...

One type is where you're the so called architect in an Inception kind of style haha. You build your own dreams and stuff and are basically the king there. The second type is based on real life events and you live through scenes and actions that also feature your close ones and people you know in general...

I know Shakhtar are no pushovers, but (even though I'm praying for it) I don't think Barca will be going home before the semis. And to be honest Real is not 100% in just yet... the spurs might give us a run for our money. We're 90% in, though. And to be honest I'm looking forward to the Chelsea - ManU match. I like the "vertical" kind of playing of both.

(there's still one option how I can listen to at least some new stuff - I'll temporarily save it on my 8gb memory stick, so fire away any recs if you have them).

| Metalstyles As for music, I've fallen way behind. The biggest culprit is my inner HD that ran out of space. I got an external one shortly, but for my loss, it broke down almost immediately and is currenly being repaired (has been like that for about 2 weeks already). Also, I'm focusing on my gf, my friends and my grades more than on music lately, spinning only the oldies but goldies. If I get my exernal HD back, I'll try to start catching up on new music again though.

I have an old commy car (yes you read that correctly haha) sitting in my garage and as soon as I get my license done, which might take a while actually, I'll hook up with my friend who is currently studing to become a car mechanic and we'll try and fix up that oldy. Also, good that you've got something going on with that girl, even if it is a little unstructured (something that I believe a man of your capabilities can easily fix).

| Knott- Thanks, dude. Nah, it helps, but I really don't know how much I'll be sticking around except to get my hands on the buzz albums from now on. I've been told I'm not a good enough writer to make staff, which is an opinion I haven't heard much upto now, but it's held by the person that matters in deciding whether I get the position or not.

I love british English and tbh spuntik is one of the last places where I can practice my English so keep those obscure words coming! | Baphomet Haha I had to look up "profligate". Yeah Hart is quite good and the best English goalkeeper by miles IMO but when the gunners decide to score a s***load of goals, well they score a s***load of goals so I was hoping for a 5 - 3 win for your boys. As for Utd's title to lose... even though they're ok now they don't seem that solid to me and (in contrast to La Liga) there are about 5 other teams that can give them a run for their money.

Haha, yeah I love Real - Getafe matches cause they're always adrenaline-filled, have lots of goals, interesting stuff happens (Pepe gone mad for instance) and Real always wins at the end. Your boys should have won yesterday against city... Hart saved their necks way too many times.

| Baphomet Yeah, Rosicky is performing poorly. (He just shot off target but close as I type this) but I wouldn't sub him since he is one of those players who can solve a match on their own. I'd sub Chamakh for van persie and Wilshere for Cesc.

| Baphomet Didn't catch on any football today. Too.. scarred... But I did read somewhere that Nasris goals were a work of art. I'll keep looking for them since youtube isn't helping. Also, seems like Chelsea decided they don't want the title this year.

| Baphomet I love you for saying it was "just an off day", Ross... but... I don't know, I would have accepted a defeat, but this... ugh. Anyway, I'm not saying I think what Sergio did was good, but I can understand the reason for the reaction. We can only keep our heads up and hope for a title this season, as much as it hurts nothing is said yet.

I took Irving's advice and applied it to the review - "the relevance of the MGS franchise, the composer behind these tracks, what moods are appropriated by the 21 different songs present here, what the songs actually sound like."
