| DaveyBoy I do know what you mean. One day I will get there. Like I said, it mainly depends on the vocals. Death growls is my issue.

| DaveyBoy I make a joke out of it more than anything else. I am not a fan of death growls, put it that way. I can handle post-hardcore screaming. Was listening to blessthefall as they are the support on a tour I was going to see next month. And I won't tell anyone you referred to them in the same breath as metal.

| Crysis I totally agree with the early-Katatonia influences (although Rapture is a bit less doom-oriented). Their whole discography is good but Futile is their best by far.

| Crysis Hahahaha when I first heard that album I was planning on doing a review for it but somehow forgot. I'll write one up sometime in the next few weeks, though. That album rules, and it's definitely overlooked.

| Anthracks id also recommend inveracity's 2007 album but that might be "too brutal" for u or w.e

| Anthracks well deeds of flesh are far and beyond the masters of tremolo riffs...u might like kronos' colossal titan strife album but i dont know if thats total tremolo rape...brazilian bands like krisiun are tremolo rape but they arent that good... a lot of old school death metal bor
