  • CaptainDooRight hi bro how are you?? can i share my new trvth album with you? https://trvth.bandcamp.com/album/inordinate-and-surpassing

  • Spag It's all good! I just came back here after awhile of lurking but not posting anything. I have a feeling the new Ihsahn won't be quite as experimental as Das Seelenbrechen and might be a bit straightforward. That's just a random guess and I could totally be wrong on that lol. Oh and about Leprous, I'm waiting until I buy it to listen but have heard 2 songs off of it which were both really good. :)

  • Spag Nice Arcturian rating. Hope your ready for the new Leprous (and I believe new Ihsahn later this year!) :)

  • Gnocchi Sorry for the delayed response. Enslaved have always 'clicked' with me. In Times sounds like a logical step for a band still exploring the sounds they made over a decade ago. On a first listen, the album sounded cheesy, expanding on its central theme but with more listens it felt like a storyline not a gimmick.

  • ExplosiveOranges One down, one more to go.
    May 10 11:40 PM
  • ExplosiveOranges I was considering the idea of doing two more Pathology reviews, since they have two albums that haven't been reviewed yet. What do you think?
    May 10 01:50 PM
  • ExplosiveOranges Agreed. Matti Way (current vocalist for Abominable Putridity and Pathology) is much better than Johnny Huber.

  • Necrotica Sup man, I put you on my Favorite Users list :]
    March 4 06:43 AM
  • Alastor Haha, yeah most of their songs are pure cheese. But they also crafted some epic masterpieces in their early years which also influenced Bathory. Listen to this song and you will know what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMOyLgvR3nU

  • Alastor If you dig viking metal in the vein of Hammerheart you'd like Sign Of The Hammer by Manowar.Truly one of the first viking metal albums even before HH.

  • Spag I took the top soundoff on Converge's Jane Doe and replaced "Jane Doe" with Das Seelenbrechen as a joke. That's all :P Glad you like Das Seelenbrechen though. I won't be able to get deluxe edition until the 29th or after. The release got pushed back a whole ****ing week for North America.

  • FrozenVain I know both of those bands really well, but I have never taken my time to fully listen through their stuff. I will listen to them now however, since you recommended them.
    December 6 03:15 PM
  • FrozenVain It's crazy, scary, harsh death metal that sounds like Immolation's latest album. It's basicly technical death metal with a bit more personality and atmosphere. I think you might like.

    August 15 09:31 PM
  • Lambda If you want man, go ahead! ;) Make sure you get some of the Sputnik signature bands in there, though (Opeth, GY!BE, Thrice, Pink Floyd, Elliott Smith, etc.)
    August 15 05:12 PM
  • KILL similar as in sound? or similarly awesome? anyway i recommend.. Annihilator - Never neverland, Sacred Reich - Ignorance, Dark Angel - Darkness Descends, Sodom - Agent Orange, Kreator - Extreme Aggression, Tourniquet - Psychosurgery, Exodus - Fabulous Disaster, Heathen - Victims of Deception, Testament The New Order and Forbidden - Forbidden Evil. that should keep you going for a bit, if you want more technical or more extreme thrash than just give me a shout
    July 20 07:57 PM
  • Dethtrasher Sorry dude but I don't know much of tech-thrash. I suggest that you check out Kreator's ''Terrible Certainty'', ''Extreme Aggression'' and ''Coma Of Souls''. You must though check out everything from the Danish band Artillery. Hope you enjoy those.
