 | Storm In A Teacup sweet thanks man. early boysetsfire, Comeback Kid's first album, Vanna's last two albums, State Fault's Resonate Desperate. Like the guitar work and tone of all those. Especially love the screamers for all of those segments of each band's career.

 | nash1311 Check out the new Gideon album. My friend is the vocalist. I have it at a 3.5, and it would be higher, but it does have some seriously lame breakdowns in it that ruin some songs. You might like it though. Melodic hardcore/metalcore (Think TGI)

| twlight I don't see them as dynamic, it's basically the same scream throughout the entire album. As far as tempo and lining up with the rhythms of the band, he's almost flawless

| twlight It is more accessible that BOO's new album, but i think BOO's release might be a little better due to more memorable guitar lines and such

| twlight I wouldn't say low growls are OWNED by deathcore, but this vocalists style is done my dozens of deathcore bands it seems. Plus the instrumentals in this are much more comparable to deathcore music then a band like Misery Signals, as you mentioned. Been giving this more listens due to this convo,and it's not a bad album by any means

| twlight Because he sounds like the guy in Born of Osiris. I really don't like the way that he phrases his screams, they're cool at first out after a whole album of it it gets repetitive. Plus the uber-high cleans that they utilize do not work with it. The instrumentalists are incredible i'll give it that

 | Athom they used to be more of a poppy post hardcore band but then their original singer bolted. i think the whole thing suffers from over production and an "all we listen to is misery signals" syndrome. but i think that that's just because they're all like 19/20 and are just starting to expand their tastes beyond scene stuff.
