 | Emim Relationships are all about give and take, sacrifice and selfishness and forgiving and asking for forgiveness. If you want to keep the relationship together, then the ball is in your court as to what you do. Even if you completely decide against it (which might be the best answer for you), forgiveness will make you feel better and will help the healing process.

| Emim When I found out about it, I wrote a letter immediately to the d**kwad that did it (he convinced her to drink, which she doesn't do. Which pretty much makes it rape.) I in no uncertain terms threatened to kill his ass dead if he ever spoke or saw her again. I saw all the signs that something was up, but she insisted that they were just friends. I had to forgive myself too for not putting my foot down on that relationship; I felt in some way that I had caused all this hurt for myself. Relationsh

 | smokescreens Good to hear, man. It's pretty amazing how those stupid little proverbs you spend your life hating, like "it's always darkest before the dawn", turn out to be quite accurate. Anyways, hang in there! And if there is anything I think you should do, it's to talk things out with the girl. Find out why she did what she did. After that it'll hopefully be easier to move on and eventually find someone else.

| Emim Yeah, I'm still with her. Only after about a week of solid thinking and pain. The worst part is that I kept thinking it was gonna happen, and I took her at her word that it never would (she lived in an apartment at college right next to the jackhole). Trust however, is a VERY important part of any relationship; and so is forgiveness. Ugh, it's all just so fricking complicated and I don't understand it even months afterwards.

| Emim Eh, the guy that did it was a pussy (ironic, isn't it?), and I'd probably end up killing the f**ker. All I can tell you is forgiving her doesn't mean getting back together, and it will make you feel better. Ho-ly sh!t is it hard though.

 | LetoAtreides Most of the time I don't think that feeling of epicness is worth it lol. That one section in the HL2 where you're in a Nova Prospekt hallway and have to hold back wave after wave of CPs just infuriates me haha.

| LetoAtreides The Orange Box has been treating me to being about ready to beat Half-Life 2 for the 20th time myself :P I'm replaying it to get the hang of it on PC (I had it for xbox originally) and remind myself of the plot before doing episode 1 and 2. I freaking love it. It's so much more intense on PC for some reason.

 | kirktastic A Hero A Fake are ok, kinda like a post-hardcore version of Opeth, Kashiwa Daisuke is fantastic post-rock, and Find Me Fighting Them is a pretty good Indie/post-hardcore band, so that seems like it would fit your taste

 | Inveigh I've got False Hopes XII (the one that came out early 2008), False Hopes XIII (came with the Blowout DVD) and XIV (it's a Sims album) and I love all of them -- although XII's probably the best. Dessa's False Hopes EP is pretty dope and I just ordered Cecil Otter's (Rebel Yellow was really good). I'd recommend all of them.
