| sniper yeah man i feel ya. i think at this point i've heard about as much screamo as i can reasonably expect to actually fully digest and enjoy. been listening to a whole bunch of black metal recently, will probably get a slice of my pie pretty soon i imagine.

| vakuola You bet I do. Relationship Of Command is my all-time favourite record. In a more or less recent interview, Omar stated that anything about the future of ATD-I is uncertain, although he would never say 'never' to a reunion possibility, obviously all atd-i's fans lost it and a few days later Omar or Cedric (can't remember) stated that they were not looking for an atd-i reunion, and that sucks. I love The Mars Volta actually, but IMO nothing will ever top what they did previously.

 | Gyromania I know how much it sucks, I mean, I haven't gone through it personally, but my family was put through hell and I watched someone I cared for deeply crumble and fall apart as his life slowly ebbed away. Like I said, I hope you seek help for it.

| Gyromania Go to rehab, otherwise you could very well be dead this time next year. I've researched drugs extensively, and Adam Thomas really isn't joking at all when he says 'you're ****ed'. It would be a shame to see a great reviewer like you be taken out by a drug like meth, something that killed my father.

 | Irving LOL, I just did - and it is! But in a good way though! =) And it provides emotional weight to the review. I'm honestly not sure where I stand with this "personal-ness" thing - on one hand it's good to sound a bit detached, but on the other you can only write at your best when it's a stream of consciousness thing, no?Oh well. | Apollo yeah, it took me finding out that I can't beat my addictions on my own, it took me believing in something other than myself. To be honest, I haven't had any cravings in a long time man. But I pretty much hit rock bottom before I stopped. Just take it one day at a time and remember all those times you sketched out and couldn't sleep and felt that paranoia and panic inside you. That should be enough to keep you from going back.
