  • Storm In A Teacup Make a comeback run here when the new Anberlin album releases.
    November 5 11:32 PM
  • Azertherion Anyway, thanks for taking the time to say hello, I really appreciate it ! I need to listen to more Chopin, and maybe some Tchaikovsky and some more Schubert enventually...more romantical music in general (there's so much to listen to) !
    January 28 09:47 PM
  • Azertherion Hey :DIf I recall correctly I posted that shoutbox message because you were a recurring figure in album discussions threads for music that I enjoy. Since I'm such a newbie in classical music, I picked a few well rated pieces from reccurring users ! Plus you were one of the more gentle ones in the comments (I find that a lot of users interact in a really unpolite way, more than in other websites somehow).I hope you're doing alright (you're studying music, right ?) :D
    January 28 09:43 PM
  • Sowing haha thanks man, I've actually been since 2015! I do miss having you around, as I do a lot of the old crew...everything is going well enough that I can't complain. How about you? And also importantly, how did you like the new Lorde?
    January 28 12:02 PM
  • Azertherion Maybe someday you'll be back...some day one day :DGreat taste in classical overall ^^

  • xxm I love what you did on here. I hope that your adventures in real life have been enjoyable thus far and that life treats you pleasantly from here on out.

  • Kman418 yeah life has generally been significantly better since leaving this site lol. i still check it for like 2 minutes a day when i get really bored but thats about it. sort of since coming here ive felt like theres so much other s*** going on in my life that it seems like a waste of time to spend as much time here and on like tumblr as i used to. also yes california weed is fantastic but most other things about california are unfortunately not fantastic
    November 16 11:26 PM
  • Kman418 it's been good ive still been writing a lot and have a boyfriend and i smoke a lot more weed now bc everyone in film school smokes an insane amount of weed
    November 14 12:37 AM
  • Kman418 mm not a whole lot right now, finally graduated high school gonna be going to film school at emerson in boston in the fall and that'll probably be great, right now over the summer just spending my time reading/writing/watching a lot of movies/doing photography/hiking its been very chill

  • Rowan5215 I feel like I may end up in a writing or teaching job. Maybe TV who knows? Tom dropped out for a while there but he does come back here and there, for big things mostly. Like when Bowie died he was here paying tribute and recently when the new Radiohead dropped he was back
    May 20 12:48 AM
  • Gwyn. I went back to college after dropping out for a long time, since I've accepted that I simply have nowhere to go without it anymore, and I am looking to find a scholarship which would let me migrate to the exterior and study abroad. I've only just recently started but, I have hope and I'm motivated so, let's see how that goes. Outside of me, I just want this damn country to be fixed - I hope our useless president gets removed soon
    April 29 10:56 PM
  • Gwyn. I fell out of it for a while and I still technically am, but recently have spent a lot of time digging up jazz, so I use it a bit more now. Mostly just for archieving and knowing what I've listened to. As for that, well, the plan hasn't been looking up - There's just no money for something like that, we suffer from the highest inflation rate in the entire world and we have so little money we can barely afford to buy some cheese each week. But I'm not discouraged, I'll find another way -
    April 29 10:54 PM
  • Rowan5215 Haha mate if I ever ended up on broadway it'd have to have been a clerical error. But if my film turns out well I'll probably just make a list on here and chuck it up so people can tear it apart, could be fun. It's a buttload of fun though even when you're so stressed you feel like you're gonna just have a stroke, but that's just uni life for ya. Yeah man been out almost two years now, those were the good days of this site though, when tommygun was still about
    April 29 11:11 AM
  • Gwyn. My man!! good to see you. You mean as in music that's totally new or music that's new to you? if it's the former I'm on the same boat, but then I've never really listened to much new music anyway, only stuff that's hyped up out of curiosity. I mostly use the site out of habit these days so I can understand. As for me, well - This country (Venezuela in case you forgot) is s***, it's completely falling apart and everyone is suffering for it, so life isn't too kind
    April 28 07:16 PM
  • Rowan5215 I'm studying theatre essentially, but the central idea of my course is that it's broad as **** so we have a lot of room to do this kinda stuff. But yeah we're just starting auditions for the film now and we had our first one today, so things are gettin exciting. I'm nearly midway through my second year now so I'll graduate end of next year (unless I go onto another course which I probably will), so yeah I'm still a young-un.
    April 28 09:35 AM
  • Gwyn. where did you gooooooooo
    April 23 12:54 PM
  • Rowan5215 Dude that's insane, congratulations. The real world is a scary place hey, I'm thinking of doing another course after the one I'm in to keep that reality away. But yeah things are going are great, I'm writing a short film that's gonna be put on mid-year as part of a theatre season, and I'm going to Thailand as part of my course in June. Exciting times!
    April 23 10:14 AM
  • Gwyn. woop double post - and yeah thanks, dont worry its okay ive weeped enough - yeah i'm in venezuela though recently i've been talking with my parents to let me move out of the country on my own in a couple of years which, if i can prove im responsable enough for that and pay for it they might let me - i should probably start looking at the forums more too
    February 7 01:09 AM
  • Gwyn. i still recognize a bunch of ppl but most are these super new guys whose interests really dont overlap with mine plus yea like when it was ppl i knew it was kinda fun to just post all this dumb s*** all the time but now its a bunch of memecore dudes whose posts are just incomprehensible and annoying, even a lot of stuff that /does/ interest is infested with that stuff and like i got nothing to do over there
    February 7 01:07 AM
  • Gwyn. i don't comment, but i'm here - i havent found much use in commenting for a while, most of whats in threads now either doesnt interest me or is just nonsense (or usually both) and i have nothing to say - but this is still my main source for finding music and so i dont plan to stop using it at any near future even if i dont comment too much. i think 6 mostly just comments on that weekly thread on the forums now - happy bday! as for me, well, read my comments on rev's box, that's the jist of it
    February 5 06:54 AM
  • Gwyn. i could ask you the same thing lol. im fine, just busy or distracted or something of the sort - what about you
    February 5 02:41 AM
  • Rev nah nozaki is aoty easily

  • Rev shirobako's a p great show about anime production, parasyte is alright, watching it mainly because i loved the manga, amagi brilliant park is fun, i'm super behind on log horizon 2, and i can't understand what my husband is saying is a cute lil comedy
    December 6 04:03 PM
  • Rev i'm glad you dug it! but keep watching, because it seriously only gets exponentially better as it goes on, the later episodes are really gut splitting laughs
    December 6 12:03 AM
  • treeqt. but he had some hot assists
    November 15 04:45 PM
  • Tyrael ye that was tragic :[ oh well rip good anime!
    November 1 09:55 PM
  • Tyrael Free got a second season, **** you Japan!
    October 30 03:00 PM
  • Tyrael Oh and I was also happy to see Himeko Inaba from Kokoro Connect get that far, that series definitely deserves more recognition (and a second season, boo!).
    October 29 01:14 PM
  • Tyrael I meant Shinji Ikari (I'm still a noobtaku :[ )
    October 29 01:11 PM
  • Tyrael Asuna's original design was good, but they turned her into a helpless tsundere/waifu character faster than you could say 'Shinji Hikari' (sorry!). And yeah, I still need to watch Hanamonogatari though, I'll get on that very soon after I've finished all those other high profile anime like Madoka Magica, Code Geass and others :P. PS: Tsukimonogatari has been planned to air as a 4-episode series the 31st of december in Japan, get psyched ;]. Hope for Kizumonogatari and the third Season in 2015 :D
    October 29 01:09 PM
  • Tyrael Omg I didn't even knew there was a best girl tourney I was just looking up Kaiki on google haha that dude rules face... I feel bad for not supporting Holo now :[. Though tbh all of the girls in the final deserved their spot at the top imo except for Asuna, she sucks :/
    October 28 09:55 PM
  • Tyrael Bro, Holo is my number 1 waifu, you have great taste! PS: she got in second in reddit's best girl tournament this year too! :3 http://www.reddit.com/r/anime/comments/2hkia6/the_winner_of_the_best_girl_contest_111_iskaiki/
    October 27 07:21 PM
  • Atari also i'm assuming you already know but if not there's a full album stream for it on several sites
    October 10 02:49 AM
  • Atari you need to listen to the whole thing when you have time but i know you're busy haha. Maps for the Getaway is one of my favorite songs he's ever done, i had to start writing a review for it
    October 10 02:44 AM
  • Atari also, which tracks have you heard because honestly this has some of the biggest choruses i've heard from him in years. can't stop listening to it!
    October 9 05:12 PM
  • Atari well it's definitely not as energetic as everything in transit but it's still really catchy. don't get me wrong though, it doesn't sound too similar to that album, but i do get some EiT vibes in certain areas of the record. you might not think so though lol ;) i think the similarities are mostly in Andrew McMahon's vocal performance and the lyrics.
    October 9 04:42 PM
  • Atari that new andrew mcmahon album is growing on me a ton. It definitely reminds me of Everything in Transit at times
    October 8 09:01 PM
  • Xar must be it. well let me rectify that now!!
    September 2 01:44 AM
  • Xar people are retarded
    September 1 01:30 PM
  • Sowing I don't think you'll 5 it or anything but I still reckon it's worth your time
    August 25 09:54 AM
  • scottpilgrim10 lol. Daybreak is actually worse than Saves the Day, so it's fitting.
    August 12 07:38 AM
  • scottpilgrim10 It's never good when you're the only original member left in the band.
    August 12 07:29 AM
  • scottpilgrim10 Yeah it's a good track, and it's definitely catchy. The album is enjoyable but it's pretty skippable as well. Man they'll never be able to make something as good as SWYA or In Reverie again.
    August 12 07:09 AM
  • sixdegrees TTGL has a lot of over the top, hot-blooded mecha action don't get me wrong, but maybe you're better off with a slice of life comedy or something if you just want to unwind. And Mushishi is interesting so far, has a really unique mood and pacing to it unlike anything i've seen in anime.
    August 4 05:56 AM
  • sixdegrees oh, and I forgot to mention- I started watching Mushishi
    August 4 05:34 AM
  • sixdegrees yeah, Akame hasn't really gotten to the good part of the manga so you aren't missing much just yet, it's still a great show though. As for TTGL, it can get pretty dark plotwise, I'd call it more of a homage to the genre than a reconstruction, but its a lot more uplifting thematically than Evangelion, for sure.
    August 4 05:32 AM
  • sixdegrees Aldnoah is really entertaining so far but if you aren't really into mecha, you might not enjoy it as much since there isn't much focus on character development so far.
    August 3 04:37 AM
  • sixdegrees well, EoE is definitely a more complete ending to the series but it comes with its own host of mind****ery...Anno definitely meant it to be open to interpretation, but there's blogs and various explanations out there, like you said. As for airing stuff, Akame ga kill is basically a deconstruction of your typical fantasy battle shounen, it gets better as it goes along but idk if it would be your thing. Aldnoah Zero is pretty standard mecha fare, reminds me of old school Gundam actually
    August 3 01:49 AM
  • sixdegrees well...EoE won't exactly clear things up, haha. I'm watching Zankyou no Terror too, probably my top show of the season (also watching Akame ga Kill and Aldnoah Zero). Knights of Sidonia was pretty good, had a dystopian/Lovecraftian horror vibe that was unique for a mecha series. I thought i'd hate the CGI, but it looked really good for the battles and alien designs and I got used it after awhile. I'd recommend it.
    August 2 11:11 PM
  • sixdegrees hey man, I've been alright, not much to do until fall classes start. Good to hear you've picked up Eva, one of my all time favourites (End of Eva really destroyed me, interested in your take on that once you've finished it). Seen any other good anime lately? I just finished Knights of Sidonia, which actually reminded me a lot of Evangelion.
    August 1 06:53 AM
  • Kman418 oh lol well if youre looking for melody then oversteps and amber will probably interest you altho neither of them have ever really stood out to me a whole lot in their discog. they're both definitely their most melodic releases though
    April 13 01:37 AM
  • Kman418 basically just listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL0r1LEnLsc and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BU_A5p04VXc and go with whichever appeals to you more lol
    April 13 12:46 AM
  • Kman418 thats kind of difficult cause like....... none of their stuff is accessible. i mean tri repetae is probably their most accessible but at the same time its basically 100% based around the beats without a whole lot of thought to melody or harmony put in which can be a turn off to some. draft 7.30 might also be a good one since it has more going on and is more interesting (imo) but its also way more experimental structure wise
    April 13 12:44 AM
  • Kman418 godammit. well it's v close to a 5 anyways so good job
    April 9 10:18 PM
  • Kman418 side note is that exai 5 legit cause i just started getting into autechre recently and theyve grown to be one of my favorite bands omg

    December 22 05:28 AM
  • sixdegrees yeah, I imagine there's still material from the visual novel that hasn't been covered.
    December 17 04:49 AM
  • sixdegrees damn, haven't watched it yet. I'm sad that it ended, sounds like the ending at least gave some decent closure to the series.
    December 16 05:48 PM

  • Ecnalzen I thought the instruments had a better flow. It was very chunky on the original. I had never heard I'd Like to Die before though. It was really good.
    November 12 05:30 AM
  • Ecnalzen What'd you think of the version of Alexthymia on the live album? I really liked it and thought they did a better job with the chorus.
    November 11 10:54 PM
  • Kman418 amnesia: the dark descent is the base and the engine was made specifically by the devs for the game it's p simplistic but it's good for what i need to do, but yeah i'm almost done with it i'm hoping to get it out by december

  • mindleviticus krystppsdgokspmklmkladnmdg penderecki? that things ****ing terrifying man, but it's SO GOOD
    September 18 01:42 PM
  • sixdegrees well that's two recommendations, guess i'll have to give it a shot :D
    September 18 11:19 AM
  • GiaNXGX yeah, there's enhancement and i guess that no necessity, what he was trying to say. why do people listen to vivaldi when they can listen to in vain is beyond me );
    September 18 08:29 AM
  • GiaNXGX Curious listener can refer to about anyone. by inheritance the Messiaen fan or innitiate (pre-fan, ahha) is nor composer nor art school grad, he is no "requisite", it's an attempt that to understand and break down our outdated paradigms that 'recognize' could be carried out of ourselves and must be made. man who listens to Handel is prob no future fan of Messiaen but, does he really need to learn 12-tone row and chromaticism to 'get it'? It's a matter of to listen to or not and prejudice.
    September 18 08:25 AM
  • GiaNXGX While I do am in agreement with the Joyce analogy, has "background" been considered? Because one cannot possibly arrive at Ulysses without first passing through traditional pre-modern writing, or perhaps Beckett's Waiting for Godot, there are of course things which connect. In mentioning "serious music" Docperkins isn't referring to a matter of supposition but situational, and the 'pretentious' facade thats hiddening somewhere, he is adressing curiosity in curious listeners.
    September 18 08:13 AM
  • GiaNXGX That isn't the quote in all its entirety but whereas language represents the limits of our world (our minds cannot understand what they have no words for or dialectic schemes for, see: wittgenstein), it is something learnt and built from practice and memorization; music contrasts in that one is bornt with the capacity to hear, and more so to cognize structure and "get" things by wich manners they are constituent, the only difference being the degree of aural coscern and vitality.
    September 18 08:04 AM
  • GiaNXGX oops that was a lot sorry ;p
    September 18 07:42 AM
  • GiaNXGX In other words it's voluntary hermeticism but, the order of "digestion" when disordered is after all in non-tonal classical music, optional recommendations prevail as a purge for acquaintance.
    September 18 07:41 AM
  • GiaNXGX As if, for instance, one should learn how to read musical notations, or being initiated in composition and harmony theories, and being able to play at least one classical instrument, besides of knowing the history of ?classical? music, including the chronological and logical constitution of different niches of manifold ?schools?, and the respective paradigms that erected them into schools and make them discrepant from other schools.
    September 18 07:37 AM
  • GiaNXGX yes exactly, but i refer to scholarly directions. i think docperkins sums it up way better than myself in his review of Messiaen's Vingt Regards sur l'enfante Jesus, that "One of the recurring mistakes regarding so called ?classical? music is the assumption that one has to be somehow prepared to its fruition.
    September 18 07:35 AM
  • GiaNXGX one thing i've noticed is that objectified appreciation can also be a partial subjection to / or rejection of tonality ( future-to-be / the human ear has accustomed itself so much to tralatitious rhythm and or dissonance that they become natural to us.)
    September 18 07:25 AM
  • GiaNXGX whats so great about quartets such as his is that they often require multiple sittings and constant analysis, at which point it literally becomes "scholar". A "study" on arbitrary relations and rendered sounds (more so with electroacoustic composers), as opposed to bubblegum cherry pop and ecstastic melodies, extend-technique and theory and at which point one also gains a new objectified appreciation for music and the nature of sound. Read on: Polystylism /
    September 18 07:08 AM
  • RogueNine Dang, I think you have ratings for those two already. Listen to Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and since you're a piano player, definitely look up Pour le Piano.
    September 18 03:08 AM
  • RogueNine Well you started in a good place, haha. Listen to Suite Bergamasque, where Clair de Lune is from, and then give some of his orchestral works a spin, like his three Nocturnes (L. 91).
    September 18 03:04 AM
  • GiaNXGX rate alfred schnittke and dont be such a puzzy iced frier nigger
    September 18 02:10 AM

    September 7 01:05 AM
  • Ecnalzen POST REMOVER. Lol, I didn't hear about piano guys until May of this year when they released their second album. Haven't heard much from their first set of covers, so don't believe I know the pirates one yet.
    August 31 01:51 PM
  • Ecnalzen That's cool. On an unrelated note, I finally bought Onerepublic's last album. Today was a good day.

    August 17 09:07 PM
  • mindleviticus It's pretty "out there" and atonal and it's nightmare inducing. When I first heard it (I was like 13) I thought I was gonna go crazy.
    August 6 04:13 AM
  • mindleviticus dood if you like classical a lot i think you'd like Krzysztof Penderecki's Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima, it's pretty terrifying but it's amazing all at the same time
    August 6 03:53 AM
  • Ecnalzen Yeah, I think it was around the halfway/three fourths point where I started losing some interest here and there. There were 2 or 3 really good tracks in the first half.
    August 3 09:09 PM
  • Ecnalzen Been listening to Everything in Transit (on my 3rd listen I think) and I forgot to report my findings! It's not bad, but I find my self losing interest every so often while I listen to it straight through. Was it pretty immediate for you?
    August 2 03:00 PM

  • sixdegrees yeah, putting that aside, it really was an entertaining show.
    July 14 08:12 PM
  • tommygun just curious!
    July 14 10:51 AM
  • sixdegrees I think quite a few people lived vicariously through hachiman while watching that show hehe
    July 14 10:00 AM
  • sixdegrees 8 is a good score tho. did you watch it?
    July 14 09:53 AM
  • tommygun hi tox do you last.fm?
    July 14 09:22 AM
  • mindleviticus 5 it bro
    July 10 01:29 PM
  • Cygnatti I have nothing against anime, it just never interested me the way it did with my 4 other brothers. But I'll ask my twin to find it so we watch it, if we can't find it, I'll have to ask you. The reason why I won't ask you now is because there are like 50 different commonly used anime websites and we try to only use the ones we know because some might have viruses or are unprotected, etc. :/
    July 10 11:15 AM
  • mindleviticus Autechre - Exai - 1 you ****ed guy?
    July 10 03:11 AM
  • Cygnatti give me some classical rex, toxman. :D

    July 7 06:48 AM
  • Lakes. did u die
    July 2 02:38 AM
  • sixdegrees now there's a show i'd def recommend to someone getting into anime, esp if they like horror
    June 27 08:08 PM
  • sixdegrees sure, although its slow in pace and really atmospheric, so there's a chance he'll find it boring.
    June 27 07:36 PM
  • sixdegrees sounds like a plan. srsly though I 10'd it's REALLY good
    June 27 10:16 AM
  • sixdegrees more kawaii boys really. there's a miko tho :D
    June 27 09:46 AM
  • sixdegrees ignore the average rating btw, the top reviews are much more accurate
    June 27 07:19 AM
  • sixdegrees http://myanimelist.net/anime/2596/Shinreigari:_Ghost_Hound
    June 27 07:17 AM
  • sixdegrees do you want something in a particular genre or just anything at all?
    June 27 06:50 AM
  • sixdegrees agreed, people need to just sit back and enjoy stuff once in a while without picking apart every little cliche or plothole.
    June 26 01:10 AM
  • sixdegrees I think you pretty much nailed it in terms of criticism, its not really a show that gives you alot to think about or really gets into the character's heads. Its prob more an 8 objectively, but I enjoyed it too much to bump it down.
    June 26 12:59 AM
  • sixdegrees I know what you mean. shouldn't be a problem with this one tho, personally I typically get through suspenseful shows pretty quick
    June 24 02:18 AM
  • sixdegrees I marathoned it without any trouble, just do whatever ya feel like.
    June 24 02:10 AM
  • sixdegrees lol yep most of the deaths aren't as ridiculous
    June 24 02:03 AM
  • sixdegrees sweet, it just gets better from there
    June 24 12:28 AM
  • Kman418 it's the fourth day now and i've only left the house once and haven't done anything with any of my friends god i ****ing suck
    June 23 07:02 AM
  • Kman418 teach me how to have a life over the summer pls
    June 22 11:37 AM
  • sixdegrees yeah it was one of the most popular shows of the 2011 winter season. Anyways, share your thoughts once you've finished it.
    June 18 08:14 AM
  • sixdegrees agreed. part of it was the whole "hype backlash" factor, but its a great show regardless; I marathoned it in one night. The last couple episodes in particular are brutal.
    June 18 08:01 AM
  • sixdegrees most people don't seem to enjoy it as much as I did but its really entertaining
    June 18 06:05 AM
  • tommygun yeah it'll be fun regardless it's a ****in sweet venue i've seen a few other shows there and the doors to the beer garden stay open the whole time and it'll be springtime so it'll be good vibes and a few pints!
    June 13 02:54 AM
  • tommygun going by that i'm pretty sure it's not acoustic (thankfully), might as well go one of my buddies digs em so i'll prob go with him and if it's not that good then oh well $59 is nothing
    June 13 02:49 AM
  • tommygun link - http://www.moshtix.com.au/v2/event/anberlin-with-special-guests-the-maine-and-william-beckett-the-academy-is/66240

  • tommygun anberlin playin my city sep 10 tix are $59 might go! have you seen em live?
    June 13 02:28 AM
  • Atari alright haha good luck with your finals man
    June 10 08:35 PM
  • Atari that's retarded lol well you should say something to the mods cause there's a big different between a couple negs and a 31 percent drop in approval
    June 10 08:22 PM
  • Atari wtf i know approval rating doesn't really matter but no way you should be at 61 percent you're a great writer!
    June 10 07:56 PM
  • Havey Schoenberg is crazy, I'm still figuring some of his works out.... You should read some of his essays if you've got some time on your hands, try 'Composition with Twelve Tones'
    June 10 03:00 PM
  • sixdegrees well there's recs threads on the forums, but I don't go there much cause its really boring. but yah I need to branch out lol
    June 9 06:50 PM
  • sixdegrees yeah, for similar shows, under "recommendation". i've pretty much seen most of the actually good recs for shows that I like and it gets pretty dismal after that. fortunately, I bookmarked sma.keyanifans
    June 9 06:31 PM
  • sixdegrees and I think I got it from a MAL recommendations list, i'm realizing how bad alot of the recs are on there.
    June 9 06:25 PM
  • sixdegrees yeah, it's so bad but I can't stop watching cause it tries so hard to take its premise seriously. classic trainwreck entertainment
    June 9 06:23 PM
  • sixdegrees you're prob right, shows that deal with "otaku culture" don't really interest me anyway. and i've been watching some pretty dubious stuff, I can't even do justice by describing this show: http://myanimelist.net/anime/16355/Dansai_Bunri_no_Crime_Edge
    June 9 06:13 PM
  • sixdegrees well then...the only show i've seen with that theme was onii-chan dakedo ai and that was really boring. I'm not one to dismiss a show that incorporates it tho
    June 9 07:42 AM
  • sixdegrees so it improved. hmm, I didn't know that show had incest themes
    June 9 07:03 AM
  • Cygnatti http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YFapopEV3I
    June 8 10:51 PM
  • Cygnatti have you seen lakie's newest dig? ^_^
    June 6 12:25 AM
  • tommygun haha prob cos I act like a 15 year old boy on here!
    June 5 10:40 PM
  • sixdegrees yeah, those sorta "guilty pleasure" shows certainly have their place when you just want to watch something to deal with boredom.
    June 5 09:28 PM
  • sixdegrees ah, I see. I'm not a fan of SoL in general unless it's incorporated into an overarching storyline; I definitely wouldn't be able to marathon a show like that haha
    June 5 06:04 PM
  • HolidayKirk Can you take a look at my Finally Rich review?
    June 5 01:29 PM
  • sixdegrees lol damn. so it was bad?
    June 5 11:16 AM
  • Cygnatti toxman! :D
    June 5 04:01 AM
  • Cygnatti don't go! T_T
    June 5 02:52 AM
  • HolidayKirk You've been leaving some the most detailed criticism of my reviews for months. Thank you so much, you've really helped me improve as a writer.
    June 4 10:14 PM
  • tommygun dude i'm 24 but i'm first year at uni cos I spent the last few years just working and travelling! I prob won't see her until then cos I only go to the compulsory classes and do everything else online, will just have to be patient for a few weeks haha
    June 3 03:36 AM
  • tommygun dude postpone mission **** lab partner we had an experiment last week and afterwards we were walking and talking and i said hey let's go grab a drink and she couldn't cos she's only 17 lol but she was all embarrassed and said it's her birthday next week so dude next semester it's ****in ON
    June 3 03:19 AM
  • sixdegrees I plan on sticking with it. and yeah, eva's definitely not for everyone, it's an exhausting experience either way.
    June 2 06:34 AM
  • sixdegrees I think it fits, somehow. and i'll give her a chance, I mean i'm only a third of the way in and there's a lot of depth to these characters. oh yeah, and eva is amazing but as you probably know it's very divisive.
    June 2 06:01 AM
  • sixdegrees I like mind****ery but yeah the brightly colored, absurdist style of the show doesn't really do it for me. plus I can't stand Ringo, ugh.
    June 2 05:51 AM
  • sixdegrees cool site, I'll go over the recs later. also that reminds me I need to get back to watching penguindrum, I put it on hold cause it was kind of pissing me off
    June 2 05:43 AM
  • sixdegrees yeah my taste is kinda weird and I can't seem to find many good recs for those kind of shows on MAL. added you btw
    June 2 05:37 AM
  • Cygnatti yeah, I just checked. I don't feel like I've ever been acquainted with this book tbh. hmm...
    June 2 05:32 AM
  • Cygnatti sparknotes makes life better.
    June 2 05:30 AM
  • Cygnatti ew, difficult reads that aren't well known so I can sparknote them. ew.
    June 2 05:30 AM
  • Cygnatti oh, I actually had no idea it was a book. lol
    June 2 04:35 AM
  • sixdegrees well I'm into psychological/horror type shows and the first couple episodes were interesting. ofc it turned out to be a trainwreck, I guess I only kept watching to see if it would redeem itself lol
    June 2 04:32 AM
  • Cygnatti "the horror, the horror" - explain yourself, toxman.
    June 2 04:29 AM
  • sixdegrees it was actually the other way around, I figured i'd watch steins;gate just cause. also, robotics;notes and it was really mediocre, so I guess steins;gate was a random flash of brilliance or something.
    June 2 04:11 AM
  • sixdegrees that was before I checked reviews prior to watching lmao.
    June 2 04:07 AM
  • sixdegrees do you MAL at all?
    June 2 04:05 AM
  • sixdegrees well to be fair I need to some things, but I only got serious about watching anime about 6 months ago haha.
