| lancebramsay Lute is not a Nas imitator. While his cover is clearly an homage to Illmatic, his style is definitely different. Nas is all about the bars whereas Lute has a better grasp on writing hooks. I dunno man, it would be a shame if the album was overlooked, you can read my review if you want a better breakdown. Or you can just download the album, it's free and little over 30 minutes of material.

Basically it's different everywhere, but to be totally honest, going to school to be a journalist isn't always worth it. It's worth pursuing, but it doesn't necessarily have to be as specialized as what I'm doing.

| Tyler Well, I'm actually double-majoring, so I'm taking communications and journalism. So, most of my courses are specifically related to journalism: specialized reporting, advanced newspaper production, broadcasting, multimedia journalism, s*** like that. But it's not exactly a necessity to do these kinds of things, though it can help. Your main thing is like Dave said, you want to take humanities and also probably communications. Some digital stuff (learning photoshop, inDesign and some basic HTML)

 | Dave de Sylvia I'm not sure exactly since I didn't go to school for journalism, but there are dedicated journalism courses in some colleges. Munro would be the man to talk to about that. If you don't want to box yourself in, any humanities subject that involves a lot of writing/interpretation works - English, History, Philosophy etc.

| BallsToTheWall Pretty lean for 5'9 159/161. I need to get back into that deadlift rhythm though. It' all depends on curling. Sometimes I go with 35's sometimes I go with 30's, today I did 5 sets of 25's for 6-8 followed by drop sets, which is when you max out, go to 20s,15s, and then 10s.

I think you'll like Sims more than Cecil and Dessa definitely. speaking of Def Jux, if you've never heard Mr. Lif or Cool Calm Pete you should look into them

| FilthyBorgir When you think about it the instruments are preformed very accurate considering the speed of the music. The vocals are great cuz of the vocal style, and the pitches that they can hit. With the lyrics they're usually about battles. To me power metal is the WoW version of music (I don't play the game). But it all boils down to personal taste.
