| Eloriaz Hey man! Sure I do: http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2303583
| PunchforPunch hey dude i saw your list but i'm feeling lazy atm. you could just check my ratings for this year http://www.sputnikmusic.com/uservote.php?sort=2
| climactic hey dude thanks for the post. the career / possible degree i'm interested in pursuing is music business, not actually a degree in music performance (could end up pointless as you said). the field as a whole is way more about experience and personal ability than having some degree. plus i am already on the business track. hopefully everything will work itself out

| SupercolliderMusic check out Nathaniel Closen's new single "Things Falling Apart" on YOUTUBE.
| MrElmo Hey cheers, it's from a young artist from the UK called Leemun Smith (also in the weird hardcore band Castrovalva), he makes all sorts of really cool art, here's his galery on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kraffhics/
| SupercolliderMusic If I hear anything about Nathaniel Closen releasing more material, I will let you know. However, you can download "Skyline" at his bandcamp.
| Gyromania no worries. good luck with your future endeavors!
| Gyromania basically what you'd think - editing reviews and basically any other posts. you'd be allowed to post your own reviews too. seems like maniac's taking a liking to you though ;D if you'd like to discuss this further via fb or email just let me know
| Maniac! That's fine, we can talk here. (or skype if you have that). Just drop me a message or email me at brandon@mediasnobs.com when you have some time
| Maniac! Do you happen to have facebook, where we could discuss a staff position a bit more efficiently?
| Gyromania whoa, just noticed that the layout was changed completely. it looked like your average music blog until just recently. this new layout looks like an itunes playlist, not sure how i feel about it. anywho, if you'd be interested in a writing/editing position, let me know and i'll see what i can do.
| Gyromania http://meltingalbumreviews.wordpress.com/ - i'm actually the editor atm but i've yet to critique anything or write any reviews as i just joined recently.
| Atari thanks for the feedback it's really helpful. I've written damn near 80 reviews but without people pointing out these things i'll never improve so i appreciate it : )
| heyadam No problem man! I'm a Chinese History buff so I came across this instrument and it's been my favorite ever since. There is actually a place that teaches it about fifteen minutes from where I am going to college right now, so I'm looking to pick it up.
| heyadam http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wciV0UUrwHI Here's the link to "In Love" The song is slow building, but throughout the verses and chorus it makes great use of the Guzheng. You can get some pretty low notes on the Guzheng, but most melodies are mid-high range.
| heyadam That's hard man! It's almost exclusively just traditional Chinese music that uses it. The only song that I can think of that makes use of it in Western Music is "In Love" by Jon Foreman
| geasoftime Dammerfarben's Herbstpfad, Fen's Epoch, The Fall of Every Season's From Below, and Wyrd's Huldrafolk are all top notch albums. They're all atmospheric black, except tFoES which is atmospheric death/doom (I guess.. I don't know really how to place them). You've also rated Fall of Efrafa's albums very high, but haven't checked out Light Bearer, their new band? If not, you definitely should.
| geasoftime np man. I hope you dig it... I thought you might based off of your ratings. There's some other obscure metal releases I want to rec to more people, if you're interested, let me know.
| geasoftime Check Encircling Sea's A Forgotten Land.
| silentpotato im gonna check it out it sounds like id like. and word I've been meaning to check that out! haha ye sudatsuga is i
| silentpotato how much would i like that elegant gypsy album?
| Atari hey no problem man glad you like them!
| CaptainDooRight And thanks for taking the time to give me feedback as well.
| CaptainDooRight I sure did bro, that's all me. I'm glad to hear that you like it bro. And that's awesome that's the best you've heard this year so far. I hope to continue writing quality music to share. I'll be working on new material for the next album tonight :]
| ZilbelPing Vinyls? No, I meant the thread. You're supposed to read it.
| ZilbelPing Couldn't find itFound this though: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=433947
| Geadom yeah, sent it to seidel.peralta@gmail.com . Thanks!
| Ethics holy s*** you're awesome
| Yuli Hey man, thanks a lot for the album you sent my way. It's a pretty listen, that's for sure. I can't promise anything, although I'd like to eventually write something up for it. I've got a lot on my plate now in terms of reviewing. If I get something written for it, though, you'll be the first one I inform.
| letsgofishing haha...no worries. I wasn't being serious. Really excited for that album though.
| Mike08 Im a cj and soc major; unfortunately computers are not my specialty
| letsgofishing So dude...we need to join forces and guess the password to Archelaos's account on the mwY site so we can collectively enjoy the press release of Ten Stories. You down? You know how to hack?
| Gyromania I'd love to, dude, but unfortunately it's a press-release. That is to say that I have neither a physical nor a digital copy of it - I can only hear it via soundwave at the moment. If that changes any time soon, I'll be sure to hook you up.
| Gyromania You and me both, man (about making films). Of course film and music work well in tandem; most movies wouldn't be anywhere near as good if it weren't for their accompanying soundtracks. According to Netflix I've viewed and rated just under 1000 films, so I think it's safe to assume that I spend more time watching movies than I do listening to music. What are some of your favourite movies?
| Gyromania You most certainly are! Kudos for being the first to notice it. Hausu is likely the best psychedelic horror/comedy I've ever seen. Did you recognize the picture from somewhere or have you actually seen the film?
