| Feather For sure! I don?t have one haha
| Feather You are gunna have a friend invite from Lauren coming ... I use my gfs switch lol
| Feather Thanks for the trade and trade back offer! Will likely need to take you up on that at some point soon ? I have all the classic trade guys ready (haunter, graveler, kadabra, machoke). Not sure why I raised all these classics but here we are!
| twlight witcher 3 is a sexy soundtrack, no doubt. i like how every region has its own music
| Lord(e)Po)))ts lmao just wait till you have her fully upgraded, you basically just become a ceaseless tsunami of razor blades
| Uzumaki Bro, that No Party for Cao Dong album was ****ing tight! I liked it!
| Lord(e)Po)))ts Yeah I am, the characters are so much more unique and varied than they were in hyrule warriors 1 or in most musuo games really. They all handle really nicely and there arent any throwaways yet (let's ignore hestu). Also I'm liking revali better now that I've upgraded him a bit. Before upgrading he was just hard to fight bosses with cuz he had way more long distance air attacks than grounded mode attacks
| Lord(e)Po)))ts Daruk is surprisingly good and fun (i find big sluggish musou characters usually to be my least favs, and I hated Darunia in the first Hyrule Warriors) especially if you equip him with a weapon with a speed bonus. Urbosa ****s s*** up naturally, Ravali is very unique but honestly probably the most difficult character to play as which makes him one of my least favourite so far, zelda is whatever, and hestu is a musou meme character so you get what expect
| Lord(e)Po)))ts dude fish waifu ****s s*** UP. One of my fav characters that I've unlocked so far. But Impa is bae and Link just gets so OP so quickly
| Lord(e)Po)))ts Lmao I seen that one, game freak really getting carried away with these s***s
| Lord(e)Po)))ts I dont even know what half the s*** I'm catching in this den is lmao. What the **** is a kartana
| Lord(e)Po)))ts Lmao. Yeah it's honestly like not even fair to everyone who has been transfering their pokemon over from gen to gen since the beginning. All these noobs roll in like "pick a legendary? How about all of them"
| JohnnyoftheWell UR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU get your vote in for the royale thing quick quick!!
| dbizzles Indeed it is. It is now the crown jewel of my collection : )
| JohnnyoftheWell s*** did i not reply to your thing?!?! been good, got back from a trip from osaka last night and now i just want my school term to end lol. how's stateside??
| JohnnyoftheWell Lmaoooo yeah, I guess mwY are so well rep'd here and their fanbase is so generally disparate that it makes sense but still hilarious and cute to see it pan out that way
| JohnnyoftheWell Lmao just saw that mwY group fb post and subsequent epic unmasking
| ramon. Yo, I couldn't give a straight up rec for online as I'm based in Australia. I got mine bundled in a camera store, I'd recommend giving camera stores in your area a visit to see if anyone can do you a deal. I can throw a couple of other recs your way if you want on the chance you can't find a spot that'll cut you a deal. There are alternatives that'll be just as worthwhile starting off with.
| Lord(e)Po)))ts U are too good to me, how can I repay u? Anything u still need bred or are you done the sword DeX?
| Lord(e)Po)))ts Great, I'll do code 8815 again and trade u mimik first then feebas for feebas!
| Lord(e)Po)))ts s***, raincheck for tomorrow eve, any time, the girlfriend is making me come to bed
| Lord(e)Po)))ts Just hatched mimikyu, i set code to 8815. I'll trade u that and then u mind trading my feebas and back to evolve?
| Lord(e)Po)))ts I dont but I'll breed you one! I'll trade you pichu for now and I'll get a mimikyu bred and hatched asap!
| Lord(e)Po)))ts I got all those right now or I can breed you something else if u want too
| Lord(e)Po)))ts Mah boy!!!! I'm playin rn. U need a cleft, bonsly, peanut, togepi, riolu, munchlax, or pichu? Or vibrava, hakamo o?
| Lord(e)Po)))ts Damn dude that is very generous! If there is anything u want me to breed for you in return I'm more than happy t
| Pikazilla Yes, Xerneas is amazing! Also, as far as regional dexes go, X and Y quite easily rank among the top. And they have a cool story too.
| Pikazilla I've never actually played Sun and Moon because I didn't like the region's design. Got my sister Ultra Moon for her birthday, and she said it was great - which makes sense because sequel versions (like also with B/W 2) tend to have more content. X and Y were great though.
| letsgofishing Hey, saw your message and I appreciate it. I don't know if I did any of the records any justice, but I had a feeling Untitled would be mwY's last and I wanted to experience it as fully as I can. It was a privilege to be able to be able to share that experience with you all.
| JohnnyoftheWell And about time that Minakekke EP dropped aha! I liked the track she put an MV out for, hyped to hear it
| JohnnyoftheWell Btw think I must have missed you out in the wave of invites, but you wanna join the Sput j-music discord?
| JohnnyoftheWell Hey!! Ah yeah, she's a really good vibe - checked her 2018 album on a whim but have really been enjoying her latest! Worth getting into her older stuff too?
| jacobclark512 Yeah I've been listening to the Liturgists podcast religiously for the past six months or so. It has changed my life and faith so much!
| Aberf I'm slightly underwhelmed tbh. I'll be listening to it for multiple times before passing my verdict down though.
| Sowing Not at all, I just thought you weren't aware of the lyrics being pinned to their bandcamp. Would have happily emailed them and still would!
| Sowing the lyrics are on the bandcamp site if you'd like them at your fingertips, might be easier...if not, let me know and I'll email them anyway
| Slex Oh, no, the screams are only like that in Julia. There are constant background vocals as textural embellishment but that's the closest thing really to buried vox
| Slex It's absolutely as heavy and chaotic as the band is saying, they're not being misleading. There's a s*** ton of atmosphere and melody too, but not in a catchy way. It's a an extremely furious and uncompromisingly dark album. It's overwhelming so definitely takes a few listens to sink in.
| dbizzles Dude. Yes. I'm floored. I didn't expect it.

| ScuroFantasma There's an interesting analysis about Buddhist enlightenment by Zizek that kind of illustrates this. He claims that it's the ultimate counterpart to capitalist progress. Instead of facing crisis at the pace of development, you relinquish control and allow yourself to be buffeted about, content in your Gelassenheit, basically coming to terms with your lack of control in the situation.
| ScuroFantasma Nah I'm not a nihilist, though I can see why people end up there. I couldn't really peg myself down either, much like you I'm feeling my way through and trying to learn more in areas that seem to hit at something "essential"/something that resonates. Existentialism is kind of appealing, also I think you can reconcile existentialism and ego-death to some degree; they're both individualistic, but you surrender your agency with ego-death - you're dust in the wind, to be reductive.
| ScuroFantasma Lacan is...yeah really impenetrable tbh, Zizek isn't a walk in the park either imo, but he's far more approachable than Lacan, at least to me. If you're curious I can't recommend his "How to Read Lacan" book enough, it really helped me out and it's a damn good book in itself. One of my favourites. It's dense, but relatively short.
| ScuroFantasma That was over three years ago now and I was really intrigued for a while about it all, but I was bascially taught that psychoanlysis was outdated at best, and worthless pseudoscience at worst, so I didn't dive into it to any major degree. It wasn't until I got acquainted with Lacan that I got more involved, went back to Freud etc. I read some of Zizek's work on the subject, watched many lectures, read a bunch of articles. I'm way far from being proficient in this, but I have somewhere to search
| ScuroFantasma The initial taste was a book called Life Span: Human Development, which is a full introduction to, well, what it says on the tin I guess. It's not specifically about psychology, much less psychoanalysis, but it does naturally include many references to Freud's early and influential theories (not before dismissing almost all of them, as you do haha).
| ScuroFantasma Holy s*** I thought you died haha. Interpretation of Dreams is excellent, very compelling imo, nice grabs.
| ScuroFantasma I can't really conceive of a way for the being to exist without an ego as mediator at the least, but, from what I can gather, Enlightenment functions in the capacity of Gelassenheit (self-surrender), and that's something like the inwards reconciliation of the ego's need to balance the drives of the Id and Superego, by relinquishing any attempts to retain control and maintaining inner indifference. What's your question about practicality exactly? I realise I've mostly just rambled haha.
| ScuroFantasma Mmmm that's a good topic, I'm super down to continue this chat. My first sort of experience with what amounts to "ego death" is actually Hindu enlightenment. It didn't go by that name of course but that's essentially what the process of attaining Sannyasa is. From my understanding of Jung's conception, the ego "dies" and is reborn, whereas the individual is essentially "egoless" in the final stage of Hindu enlightenment. That's not really a viable conception of what's actually going on imo.

| Slex https://drive.google.com/open?id=1nBYR_VOt765jw4ONTcpAPURoburj5s2tDeluxe edition and includes digital lyric booklet
| jacobclark512 Yeah I've listened to their Christmas album. I really really really like Gungor's stuff though.
| Voivod Thanks man, I'm trying to add as many bands as I can, particularly those that I dig and have their music streaming online! Also, good to know you are writing a review for their new album, I'm looking forward to reading it!
| Sowing I think for me it started as less engaging and catchy/memorable than Ten Stories, so it took a bit longer to appreciate. I have an obsession with anything apocalyptic or conspiracy theories/biblical theories related to the end of the world, and once the meaning of a lot of these songs became apparent they took on a much cooler meaning to me.
| Rev sure! mailbansheebeat@gmail.com
| Rev thanks so much dude!!
| Sowing I can't tell you how many times I wrote a review for it. My opinion changed every time I heard it. I can definitely say that it grows, but even at its best it's a notch below B,S and (IMO) Ten Stories as well. But yeah it makes sense he'd not have time to dive into the writing process, music is almost an afterthought with everything he's got going on.
| Sowing Really cool interview, thanks for sharing it with me! I definitely sense a lot of parallels between what I got out of the album and what Weiss said about it...
| Rev aw thanks dude! i really appreciate the love! i've got a brand new full length on the way, so keep your eye out for it!!
| RisingSun I was considering that! We'll see... The album's growing on me, and I'm reserving final judgment until I see the movie--hopefully soon. (Side note: Just to clarify, I am female. I must be one of few because everyone assumes I'm a guy! :P)
| RisingSun Thanks for the compliments on the Vice Verses review! Sorry for the delayed response; I hadn't visited this site in many months. Time to do some catching up!
| Emim Lol, yeah a little bit. Tis a good album though
| Curse. Change ur name to Adam Amarth plz
| JohnnyoftheWell Thanks man, I'm glad you like it :] Out of curiosity, which parts did you prefer?
| Mike08 Thanks, I really like the songs!
| Mike08 On my thread "Favorite instruments" you should post one or two albums with good use of the guzheng.
| Brontosaurus is that a picture with you and Dustie from BTBAM?
| Emim Ummm, I think only a mod can do that. Just hop on over to the meds thread in the forums and ask them.
| Emim two of them are tiesthatbind and guitarnater, and the other one is uhhkris
| elephantREVOLUTION yeah man i saw that. it will be my first time seeing them not at musica
| elephantREVOLUTION that's awesome, i didn't even know they were gonna be in ohio anytime soon. i'll probably just wait for them to come back to akron
| elephantREVOLUTION yeah they are like my new favorite band and i haven't gotten to see them live yet. i'm so pumped
| elephantREVOLUTION you gonna make it out to the citycop show on wednesday? they are playing at the grog shop with native and narrows
| DaveyBoy Thanks Adam. I put myself out there on that one, but the album was worth it.
| sixthgoldenticket oh, i couldn't really give two s***s about any of those venues to be honest haha peabody's has almost no good shows. the only venues i go to in cleveland are the grog and now that's class usually
| sixthgoldenticket i'm in cleveland heights, so kind of around downtown. what venues are starting to close?!
| Athom Mother Grizzly features members of CityCop who are an awesome Ohio band and awesome people. http://citycop.bandcamp.com/
| Athom our newest release is a 3 way split we put out earlier this month with Bust(TX) and Mother Grizzly(OH). the song we have on that split is actually like a year old and was supposed to be on our EP but it was cut and we rerecorded it with our new line up after our original singer left in September (Me on Vox/Lead guitar/bass, Hans on guitar and Ryan on drums) http://loveamerican.bandcamp.com/album/bust-mother-grizzly-love-american-split. we also have an EP which is basically our demo on bandcamp
| Tyrannic the woman in the dunes, audition, nobody knows (not as artsy but great nonetheless), and go for the original Ringu too. i'm no expert but this is a good start.
| InAbsentia I knew you'd like it! It's one of my favorite movies of all time. Now you have to watch Lost in Translation.
| Kimm Yeah, some of it. Got any good rec's?
| Emim I'd start with A Forlorn Throne, I think it's their newest.
| Emim Ha ha ha, I don't think it would be much of a hit. I'll stick to subtly reccing Christian metal bands.
| grindcore777 No problem bro, the thread gotd tho so that was a shame.
| Emim Yessir, I believe He is. I'll head up the Sputnik chapter though ;)
| Emim Btw, that group is up if you're interested. Just search on fb for The God squad (sputnik)
| Emim Ha ha, yeah. They're probably my favorite band. Us fans are a select few
| Emim Not a problem, bro! Once my internet is back up to speed, Ima make a facebook group with that name that anyone can join.
| Metalstyles Thanks for the compliment man and yeah, P.O.D. are great, in fact, if I had to name an album I've spun the most in my entire life, it would probably be Satellite by them.
| Curse. haha no problem man. I put that album on before I go to bed every single night. I love it
| cwhitman412 Course bro. A review is a review. I don't own the album or anything.
| Yeahtoast Ooooow those guys are pretty awesome, you should do it man! And ugh dude tell me about it. So much s*** going on lately. I do have some reviews in mind, but I can't see when I'll get the chance to type them up :/ they'll be along eventually though! Can't wait to get back into the swing of it haha.
| Yeahtoast ADAM DAWG!!!!!!!!! :D long time no chat buddy, how's you been? Not much man, I've been pretty lazy lately in Sputnik terms haha, school and s*** is getting seriously busy. Planning any new reviews or anything?
| theBlackWidow Does the make you happy? I entertain you, like a clown? :p
| Kimm You like DC Talk! Good stuff =]
| Yeahtoast Sup Adam? Pos'd your latest work, was agood read may have to look into that s***! Sounds good. Check my latest it's some weird stiff i tell ya but you might be interested. i'm drunk but i love you man!
| eternium Depends on what kind of mood I'm in.
| LiquidVelvet That sounds pretty awesome, they were one of the most solid live acts I've seen in recent times.
| LiquidVelvet Glad to hear you liked it.Yeah, Emery are really awesome, I saw them on Halloween a few years ago, it was great!
| WhiteWallStargazers Haha not especially, yeah I'm not sure I'll see em again unless they're at Cornerstone Festival or something similar
| WhiteWallStargazers Yeah I saw em a few years ago, wanna see em again, but waiting for them to tour with some bands I like
| East Hastings unfortunately you're right :/ that's how it was last year... still worth it to see some of the bands haha
| East Hastings def. sounds good - i'm looking forward to see DEP and everytime i die, some of my favorite music
| East Hastings holyyyyy **** august 31st at the palladium with underoath, BTBAM, architects, acacia strain...yum yum yum
| East Hastings that would induce heaping amounts of unvoluntary orgasms. mmm. i'm checking out some of the less s***ty bands at warped in august, but seeing AILD and BTBAM together would kick ass, i'm gonnna look up tour dates right now haha
| East Hastings damn dude seriously? ughhh i wanted to see them when they came to cali but i couldn't get a chance that's sweet..how was the show?
| East Hastings thanks bro, i just read it and it was pretty good, excluding the fact i hate that band :/ hahaha but either way... i would recommend starting with Birth.Eater, simply because it's their best album. if you like that vein of post-hardcore, try the Tide, and if you want something different, try Clean Head. tbh i don't like the Tide much though, it's got completely different band members and it's kinda boring. but anywho, try whichever one you want :)
| WhiteWallStargazers Same here, I bought it on the day it came out, because I expected it to be solid. . but it was a real disappointment in every way
| BallsToTheWall eVERY SONG ON THERE IS BASICALLY THE SAME BUT OMG the verses-choruses are all so f-ing catchy. Candles, Arizona, Obvious are all boss,
| iamSeraph thank you, "Phil Keaggy- Acoustic Sketches" does it for me .)
| WhiteWallStargazers Its nothing special musically but I like her voice. . and she is hot as all get out lol
| bungy Hey bro, thanks for mentioning grooveshark on my list a while back. I have found it pretty damn nifty.
| impoppy They just released a new song on their myspace. sounds pretty good, but honestly i hope the cd is overall better than it.
| Yeahtoast Another ghost neg...getting sick of this :/
| impoppy haha i just threw a rating out there based off of the sound of the music ive heard so far. im sure i'll adjust it when the cd actually comes out.
| Yeahtoast Posted another review last night buddy, would be cool if you got a chance to check it out :)
| Yeahtoast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebFTtt_A0AE
DIBS on a review O_o lol!
| Yeahtoast Only a 5 for Alive Or Just Breathing, dude? :O
| Yeahtoast I doubt it's a s deprived as this kip :P
| Yeahtoast Mine does :O lol...what part of this world are you from Adam?!
| Yeahtoast And that's why they get taken down my man! i wouldn't worry, it should be gone in a day or two :)
| Yeahtoast Is it that guy Republican guy who's commenting everywhere about bollocks? Yeah, **** that guy. Don't worry buddy I'm sure it'll be taken down just like the others :D
| X3ni92 ooh okay d: I was so lost. Thank you for clearing that up for thy d:
| X3ni92 What about me. I'm understandable how..pfft. and you suggested a band to thy...when? the hell D:
| DinnerMints24 Oh haha yeah she grew on us then the rest of the band joined in.
| DinnerMints24 hahahahaha That sucks dude. I'll stick up for you. :)
| Yeahtoast Awh man I'm jealous :( she is quite hot!
| Yeahtoast Yeah me too I'm happy now hahaha xP I've actually been in contact with the singer from that band Joey recently lol I wanted to get the rest of the band members (what's on their page is incorrect) so I e-mailed him not expecting a reply, but he e-mailed me back :O
| Waior Hey, don't think I welcomed you. Wasn't sure how long you'd been here, but your taste is quite sound. I was actually trying to back you up in the straightedge thread, by the way, but I can see how it could've been miscontrued. Stick around.
| intothepit83 Pretty much anything actually. Mainly i'm into hardcore(bands like verse and 7 seconds) and metal(anything from metalcore to stoner), but I also have a strong love for post-hardcore(fugazi) and (real) "emo(husker du)."
| intothepit83 It's all good in the hood dude. you ever need any rec's or have anything you think i might not have heard, i'd take em any day. where are you from, btw?
| intothepit83 It's all good. At first it was just a joke, but I saw your response and I had to go on with it, because conversations like that intrigue me. I don't condemn Christianity, nor do I agree with it. Your beliefs are your beliefs.
| Yeahtoast And yeah dude, AOJB is also one of my favourites! I hope Killswitch get back to making albums like that sooner rather than later :/
| Yeahtoast Yeah, we're both just starting out it would be nice for a little feedback!
| Yeahtoast Damn Sputnik for blocking my insults! The mods better look into it...I think I might be being petty but if someone's going to neg us I and I think you'd like to know WHY at least :S
| Yeahtoast Hopefully they'll sort it out anyway xP thanks man
| Yeahtoast Where exactly did you post that my friend?
| Yeahtoast Is that what happened your one dude? I asked them to comment and tell me why if they had a reasob..pussy!
| Yeahtoast heyadam! Sorry I love saying that lol xP um I just posted my first review, would you mind checking it out and telling me what you think, where I can improve etc? :/
| americanmusicmachine yeah i'm only a casual fan of converge. i like my metalcore to be really catchy.
| Yeahtoast Also, loving the new approval rating ;)
| Yeahtoast AHA! Excellent my friend! I told you you'd get it sorted! That's what happens with ghost negs, it's totally unfair like and the mods don't like it. WIN :D
| atrink man i'm just cranking out my emery reviews. i just did while broken hearts prevail. you should check it out. all i got left is the question which is going to be hard cuz i cant think of a good intro paragraph
| Yeahtoast That's no excue for neging though, it's whether the review is well written or not so it's not cool if someone does it and doesn't explain why!
| Yeahtoast I'm actually not sure :/ I think you may have to go to the forums and find them there! Or go to FAQ and see if you get any joy, sorry I can't help more :(
| Yeahtoast Dude you should report it to the mods they don't take kindly to that kinda s***!
| Yeahtoast Great review dude I pos'd :) and I'll be sure to check that album out too!
| Yeahtoast heyadam! :D yeah me too, I'd rather just ignore someone who's taste I had no interest in than bitch about it! By the way, I have another rec for an album for you, but I know album recs are a bit overwhelming sometimes so here's a link to an awesome track from it :D hope you enjoy! It's pretty brutal
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mErH98g26is
| vanderb0b Same here, but I enjoy some country. Check out Johnny Cash, you might like his cover of the NIN song "Hurt".
| Yeahtoast Really? It always makes me kinda hungry!
| Yeahtoast Same to you my friend! I'm pretty new myself but you realise quickly some people are assholes :P I only ever make it a point to be one myself if someone is one to me first xD
