  • Deviant. It's just really low key dubstep with a lot of ambient thrown in, plus a lot of post rock influences

  • Deviant. Of course it's okay to dislike him if you're not a fan of that sound/style

  • Deviant. The only thing I look for in any genre is whether or not it sounds good to me. I don't concern myself with whether it's popular or a lot of people are digging it, it has to work for me. I'm not sure if that answered your question or not, but there is no set formula for success. In regards to dubstep specifically, I'm not the biggest fan of more bass heavy womp-y stuff but there's still some great stuff to be had in there

  • Deviant. For dubstep check my 2 devstep lists. And for other electronic stuff, my dancing deviant and my drum and bass lists

  • Hawks They don't seem like they're 20 minutes at all. If the albums atmosphere works on you then the time won't be a factor.

  • Hawks I just reviewed the Fell Voices self-titled actually so if you wanna check that out you can, so you know what to expect if you wanna look into it.

  • Hawks Well what I'm really digging right now is the Ash Borer/Fell Voices split, Fell Voices' self-titled album, Ash Borer's 2009 demo, Meaningless Leaning Mess by Bone Awl, Arrive by Axeman. Can't go wrong with that for atmospheric stuff and plus some black metal/punk.
