| nash1311 Glad you dug! Make sure to check the lyrics/concept. It?s so great
| nash1311 Check out the newest OK Goodnight album. I think you will dig
| Pikazilla https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxKIYU6UxD4
| Comatorium. I?d argue dev already perfected beach metal on empath, this new one is definitely lighthouse rock
| Feather I'll be sure to check out the whole thing when it drops. Thanks for sharing.
| Feather woah, new single is awesome man. Could definitely use some higher caliber production but the concepts you have going on in this are insane. Getting some La Dispute, Icarus the Owl and maybe some old Alesana vibes out of this. Quite a dramatic vocal performance, but it works. I love the non-standard song structure. Really dug this. Good work man.
| SteakByrnes woah this is rad dude, are you vocals and guitar?
| MarsKid You got a Discord my friend?
| Feather Good for you holding onto that hope. I just dont think they did. I am thinking this is gunna be a blood album type thing
| Feather Lol sorry my man! I mean AFI has already "leaked" over half the album themselves, so might as well consider it released :-)
| Cygnatti Hey there, if you're down for the smash tourney tonight (8PM EST), pls join our discord! https://discord.gg/K5MygYJk
| iGuter I feel you on that. I?m just more impressed on where they go with their sounds. I wish they could better get their old fans to follow what they?re up to.
| iGuter You liking the direction Move Orchestra, now MODELING, is going?
| ieatbabies795 Hey you, check out Ceremony by Twin Peaks. I just found out about the band and I think it?s something you?d like
| bloodshy i plan on checking out the rest soon. i would recommend hrvrd, lead hands, or secret
| bloodshy i definitely like rearm circuits more than their self titled. i think it's a little more structured and reined in, which i can see also being a negative for others. i'm very much enjoying both, and it's the kind of music that can only grow on you
| Nomos2 oops my old account was banned so I didn't see. Ya man Sea in the Sky is killer and it's now been so long for me that I need to re-listen!
| artiswar awesome! Can't wait to fanboi out with you XD
| artiswar hey bro, come on discord. It's mostly metalheads, but I'd love to shoot the s*** with you about AFI sometime. Rejammed their entire discography today btw.https://discord.gg/JSzRcH
| HypedMerchant Dunno if you?re still active but six years later I still jam Through Nexus 8) hope your musics going well still!
| hogan900 LOL yeah that happened at some point haha, but yeah I asked the thread a while back if anyone wanted to meet up. I was with my one buddy who never heard of the band and he was kind of taken aback by Jerry's vocals. The opening acts were actually pretty good, really dug the first dude.
| hogan900 Show was ****in sick, you may have saw me around? I had a black Seton Hall sweatshirt on
| InFiction Saw they had track lengths on one of the pre-order stores. Could have been Epitaph but I'm not sure.
| Sowing twist: Fripp is actually Aaron Weiss
| SteakByrnes I see what you mean, the album was very samey throughout haha. My Enemy was by far my favorite on it, that s*** was old Word Alive with their new flair done perfectly. Telle's screams were great, but man his cleans were unenthusiastic for like 90% of it
| SteakByrnes I'm listening to the new Word Alive, halfway through and I just need to ask what the **** was that rap bridge, and I Don't Mind is ****ing wack
| MarsKid If it was a successful justification in your eyes then that means a lot, and I'm glad I could bring some attention to it. Keep spreading the good word
| MarsKid Big ups for spreading the word on Invalids, they've got themselves a new fan.
| Sowing Hey your rec made my top 10! I went with River because it feels like less of an intro, but I loved it...very powerful stuff. I don't interact with you as much as some of the others whose recs I took, but I do appreciate the fact that you seem to be a positive presence and you keep your nose out of the general bulls*** some others can't stay out of. If you ever need something mod-wise or write up a solid review and want a feature let me know!
| EvoHavok Hah, thanks! Malleus is one of my favs, but still, that's very nice to hear overall.
| Joeman82 It kinda sucks that The Black Market gets shafted so much. It's a pretty good album and Rise Against will probably only play I Don't Wanna Be Here and People Live Here. Oh well, I was one of the lucky few who got to Eco-Terrorist live though.
| Joeman82 Today's my first Sputnik Anniversary, and I don't think I've done enough activity to warrant a list about it, so I'm making the rounds and thanking some specific people for making my experience enjoyable. You were probably the first guy that came to mind. Thanks so much for introducing me to Icarus and being a chill dude in general. :)
| Joeman82 Yeah I would've liked some less popular, but still kickass songs like Chronos or Mouse Trap. I can't complain when they played Blackfish, Invertebrate, and Love Always, Leviathan (god that one was especially amazing).
| Joeman82 Went to the Icarus and Stolas show about two weeks ago. They really were outstanding live, and I enjoyed the added screams from Joey. Speaking of Joey, the dude was so nice. I was fangirling pretty hard and he was just so flattered. Stolas tore the house two too. One of the best concerts I've been to and it was only 12 bucks, can't beat that.
| Joeman82 How's Icarus live? I assume they're great, but *how* great?
| Joeman82 Lemon Party is a stellar song though, it would've been a hit for sure. Even if it is misleading to the band's actual sound.
| Joeman82 Foreign Cab Rides is the best on the new album, but it can't even lay a finger on Fake History. I do also like Another Offensive Song and Good Mourning, America quite a bit as well. Blackest Beautiful is somewhere in between the two albums I quality.
| KrispyBalls Nice suggestion with Afi - Pink Eyes i enjoyed it somewhat. I guess i should stop wishing they would return to their Sing the Sorrow/DecemberUnderground sound and just get with the times.
| Joeman82 In all fairness, I've really started to enjoy letlive.'s new record and that went in a different direction almost entirely from post-hardcore. I guess you just have to hope for the best
| Joeman82 I'm really worried for ALLB's future. No Kurt Travis and no more screaming doesn't bode well.
| trackbytrackreviews I can't remember when was the last time I listened to that album haha, my favorite is Fainting Spells, Medicate or Torch Song
| Joeman82 I want to give you a gigantic thanks for recommending me Icarus the Owl and A Lot Like Birds. I'm just simply falling in love with those bands.
| DarkSideOfLucca So what order should I listen to the Protest the Hero albums? Trying to get into them again, I dig the songs I've heard today but I'll downlaod the albums when I get back.
| BeeRyan hey bro, that's awesome of you. there's a lot of great albums for you to go through, let me know what you think! also, listen to this cool folky mixtape my buddy and i worked on for halloween. https://captainmovies.bandcamp.com/album/burial listen to it, rate it, tell your friends, and above all, enjoy!
| Eggvander No problem man, check out the new Contortionist if you haven't already. Great concept album with lots of groove and amazing cleans/lyrics.
