  • Pon Didn't realise you responded :o For Iannotta I'd go for 'A Failed Entertainment' and 'Earthings'. For Dusapin I'd recommend this https://open.spotify.com/album/13agtu4Iibw8M2OhtghJU4

  • Pon Scelsi's been my fav modern composer for a while yeah. I feel his relative obscurity compared to guys like Ligeti and Pendereski meant his style wasn't rendered as cliche by composers influenced by them. Have you listened to much Dusapin or Iannotta by any chance?

  • Titan I will listen to them, if anything because you took the time to recommend them. Cheers bro!
    April 15 07:58 PM
  • Titan as far as kendrick and Kanye, no chance. I do enjoy rap from the 80's and early 90's a lot though.....that was my time!!
    April 15 07:51 PM
  • Titan Sane bro thank you for the feedback. I've heard a lot of those groups and a lot of them just aren't for me. I will revisit some of them though and will check the ones I haven't heard. Like I said, I'm an old man (39 tomorrow) and my horizons are pretty much set. Again, will check and thank you!

  • Graveyard i liked it. it's a little more polished than their previous releases plus they added a wide array of different instruments and compositions this time around.

  • AllGabrielsAreGlass Hey man, sorry for the lateness of my reply, the curse of inactivity coming to bite me in the backside. Yeah I checked out most of your dark ambient stuff-Bohren and Der Club Of Gore=Legit. Took me a while to get into but when I did I couldn't stop listening for hours. 4.5/5 Elend-Really solid s***, managed to grab me right off the bat which is a rare thing. 4/5Deaf Center- Solid again 4/5 Maeror Tri-Solid but didn't really enjoy it as much as the others for whatever reason, 3.5/5

  • AllGabrielsAreGlass Also sorry for the delay in reply, both a combination of exams and having to plead to use someones laptop whenever I want to go online (My computer broke down some months ago) has rendered me somewhat inactive lately. But Ive got a computer again so happily I can come back online whenever :).

  • AllGabrielsAreGlass Phew that's a relief. Interesting to, I thought that the two you liked most were going to be your two most hated lol. It's nice to see ya digging some SGM and Supertramp (Although they've both become something of a bad luck charm for me weirdly.) Well, its the end of my first week of exams and I've done all the english ones so far, as well as some science, next week it's more of the same but also History and Business Studies on top of that. So far it's been going all right, not great though :(
    May 26 02:43 PM
  • AllGabrielsAreGlass Btw could you tell me exactly what you think of the stuff I rec'd? I'm not sure they were very good because I get the feeling our tastes are wildly different (With the exception of Burial and Shiina Ringo lol.)
    May 16 05:52 PM
  • AllGabrielsAreGlass Also check out their track Breathing Water. Dark Ambient stuff I think (If you could rec me some stuff from this genre it would be appreciated, cause I hardly know that genre of music but Im really intrested in it, and like I said, my taste is changing.) Hope you like the stuff, all the best mate ;).
    May 11 08:53 PM
  • AllGabrielsAreGlass YEah a few things, our tastes differ to a degree so Im not really sure what you'd think though... Supertramp-Crime Of The Century Severed Heads-Since The Accident Sleepytime Gorilla Museum- Of Natural History (Really Avant Garde stuff, love it or hate it at its finest lol.) Faithless-Reverence (If you havent jammed Insomnia already. There are two other tracks I think are essential to: Reverence and Salva Mea) Inhale-Some of their stuff is on here: http://inhale.bandcamp.com/

  • AllGabrielsAreGlass Hey sane, always a pleasure ;). Its been a rather mixed bag as of late, its leading up to my exams (Bleeding GSCES) and that has been pretty restricting on my social life (Virtual and Real) as of late. Outside of that my music taste has been broadening beyond what I thought it would. Mainly all that Japanese stuff you and base have got me into (So much good stuff over there!) and also I appear to have developed a taste for electronic music. Hope it's going well over your end. :).
    May 9 04:37 PM
  • AllGabrielsAreGlass Thanks dude! It seems as though when Im looking for some eastern stuff you and base will be the guys to go to! Thanks!
    February 13 06:47 PM
