  • DaveyBoy I can definitely see where u r coming from re comparing the 2 LPs. The End probably suffers from lead single syndrome and the fact that its no Endless Summer. Yeah, I love Local Natives. In fact, Im really looking forward to hearing the new Fanfarlo LP as they are very similar. Give their debut a listen if you haven't already.

  • DaveyBoy On first listen, Brink is definitely no Prisoner. Less diversity and less standouts. Still have to work out if I have enough to say to review it. I do like some of the grooves that songs work up but it needs time to grow out of being a kind of one trick pony.

  • DaveyBoy No, since I hadnt realised it had leaked. I think the official release date here isnt until the 31st. The lead single was definitely no Endless Summer. Im 50 50 on reviewing it as Prisoner was a real tough one to write. Although, there is a 2 week lead in to the US release I have up my sleeve.

  • DaveyBoy Yeah, some time in the new year. Ordering is done, just a few write ups I still need to complete. Unimagine is at 6. Unfortunately, it did not appear on any other staff list.

  • DaveyBoy Yeah, really like it. Actually kind of surprised how much of an impact it eventually had on me. But no review since the release date has well and truly passed. Struggling to find the time for reviews this year unfortunately.

  • FearThyEvil I only bought a bundle pack that came with a t-shirt and the album. I doubt I got anything signed by the band but I didn't check either.

  • DaveyBoy They are the country American girls who sang on that AARejects song, yeah.
    February 16 10:34 AM
  • DaveyBoy I like to listen to the bad as well as the good. That EP of theirs is borederline offensive.
