  • schoonda Haha I know it's been a month but I've given it time to sink my teeth into the record! Really digging it so far but I honestly reckon it's got more growing power. Easy 4 atm but can see it getting to a 4.5.

  • Snake. hard knocks prospect is basically my way of saying a prospect who has a relatively physical mindset, someone that fits right in with the broad street mold, i.e. nolan patrick

  • wtferrothorn Hey man, I'm not going to be able to include that Sinkane song in the Share You Singles project, since the song technically came out in 2016.

    March 28 01:00 AM
  • Artuma sweet dude! i don't doubt their intensity at all, the band sounds crazy emotive. their music is right up my alley but i guess i'm gonna need to travel to somewhere central europe in order to ever see them live
    March 15 09:29 PM
  • Anthracks It's probably my least favorite of Montreal record. Let's Relate is one of Kevin's best ever songs, however.

  • Jots I didn't notice any productional issues, but I also don't really care as long as the violins natural timbre isn't ruined and the nuances still shine and blah blah. if the production was "better" it might've sterilized it a bit. idk. I didn't notice any issue with my files

  • JS19 Dude have you got a link for that better version of No Closer to Heaven just so I can be sure it's not my copy being weird?
    September 6 10:41 AM
  • Anthracks Post-HF is definitely a different beast than the stuff before, but I think it's all equally as good. His newest era that started with his new band on Lousy is what I believe to be his weakest work. I still love it a lot, but I don't think he's released a masterpiece with this new lineup yet. The next album is going to be "very depressing," and the only song I've heard from it thus far reminds me of Colossus from Lousy.

  • Anthracks Oh boy. It changes a bit, but it's typically: 1. Paralytic Stalks 2. Skeletal Lamping 3. Cherry Peel 4. Gay Parade 5. Hissing Fauna 6. Bedside Drama 7. Satanic Panic 8. Young Froth. I tend to like Kevin's more chaotic releases.

  • Artuma good review dude, pos'd
    January 22 09:30 AM
  • Futures Haha yeah! I mean I really like it. Just don't see how it's a perfect album. I think I'm the only one that absolutely loves Chase this Light. I have it at a 4.5.
    May 22 09:42 PM

    May 21 03:17 AM
  • Futures Damn dude Call it in the Air is great! Love the combination of Jims and Toms vocals. Pretty much post-hardcore. Odd song to not dig haha! But ~opinions~
    May 20 06:49 PM
  • Futures Thanks man! I just felt Anderson Mesa and Episode IV were just a bit better although Digits is phenomenal. What's keeping your rating down?
    May 20 06:31 PM
  • Futures I know you're a huge Jimmy fan. Did you check my Static Prevails review? Tried to do it justice!
    May 20 01:47 PM
  • liekmothstoflames I'm bad with genres. :S I meant post-hardcore, but it's probably not that either
    February 20 04:18 PM

  • AliW1993 Yeah I like it. Didn't realise Richard Hawley appeared on it either, sounds excellent. I'm looking forward to this a lot more than the electric record that'll supposedly follow it.
