 | miketunneyiscool123 Maybe instead of defending a run-of-the-mill band, just accept the fact they are a guilty pleasure. THEY aren't terrible, and their music CAN be enjoyable to some measure, but they aren't unique or interesting.

| miketunneyiscool123 You don't have to be complex or unpredictable to be unique. Aside from the vocals, Shinedown not unique in any way. If anything, they are copycats (bands like Nickelback, Pap Roach, Godsmack, etc. write in the same way as these guys, and they write the same way as them). It's not narrow-minded; it's common sense.

 | mandan I do respect Dave Grohl's skills as a drummer tho. But I just can't see myself jamming Nirvana as much as the other 3 bands.

| mandan Yeah man, nice to see some love for Vs. Most seem to think Ten is their only good album. My least fave of the Big 4 is easily Nirvana, since Nevermind is the only album of theirs I can say I'd really care for.

| mandan I have both Ten and SUK 5'd, so I think that gives you an idea of how much I love both bands.

| mandan Cornell was obv the better vocalist, but McCready's one of my fave lead players. Plus I'm quite biased when it comes to Ten and Vs.

| mandan I don't blame ya dude, it's an amazing album. I'm slightly more into PJ than SG, but SG is still a hard Top 20 band for me.

 | Futures Not sure if you have ever listened to Beady Eye but wow its hard to listen to. Meanwhile Noel put out Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds. Ever check that out?

| Futures Same he is one of my favorite vocalists ever. Still has a great voice. Its a shame Liams voice is terrible now.

| Futures McDicks because I work there haha. Definitely Maybe is such a classic. I just listened to Standing on the Shoulder of Giants the other day and loved it. I don't understand the hate for that one specifically.
