 | Rik VII Well, you could see it as a chance to start getting into their stuff! (: In Your Multitude, their third album, is really worth checking out ... and not only because of Khan. The other ones are fine too (the song in question is from their second album, Parallel Minds), but IYM is an album I'd recommend to anyone into prog power stuff

| OmairSh My bad, I would have figured you knew Steve especially since you're a guitar player. Been on a Steve binge of late. He's wasting his time with the Flying Colours and Purple when he should be doing a new Dregs or solo record. Yeah Neal's cool as well but his songwriting is too similar to that of 70's prog, still has some cool material though.

He's currently the Deep Purple guitarist but his best work was with his own band The Dixie Dregs. | OmairSh I knew you couldn't resist reviewing Evergrey, especially an album that you're enjoying so much m/. I recommend adding the link to the King of Errors video somewhere so people can have a taste

| OmairSh Okay so I've listened to the album a couple of times. It's a high 3.5 right now, but I'm not blown away like I was expecting. They've kept the song structures pretty simple from what I can tell so far. Obviously I'm going to listen to it a lot more before making a final judgement. A New Dawn is ****ing badass though and the guitars are really heavy, the production is great as well. Would have really liked the bass higher in the mix though.

 | AsoTamaki Cool, man. It's definitely something I can come back to every so often and just rock out to. Nice soundoff. Agreed with your writing there. I'm also surprised they never made it big back when this was released. Top-notch vocals and great guitar playing. There's some very catchy softer songs that could've been hit singles and there's just enough of a hard edge and technical skill overall for the real heavy music fans. It's like the perfect execution of the style.

| AllGabrielsAreGlass Hells yeah bro, Both Moontower and Crimson rank amongst my absolute most beloved albums of all time. (Crimson just slightly overtaking Moontower.) Those two really shaped my musical taste into what it is today. And seen as though you bought it up, I'm also gonna jam the album hard for the next few days!
