 | ZachNyeScienceGuy Thanks! Yeah, I definitely think that 131 is Emarosa's best so far, I've enjoyed it much more than I'd initially anticipated. I think Versus was better produced but the music on this new one is just so much better. You can really tell what they were going for with the gospel and blues vibes, and it fits them so well especially with all of the lyrical themes on the record.

 | TalonsOfFire The popular 1975 songs sounded a little too Vampire Weekend to me. I'm not a huge britpop guy besides later-era Blur and Tame Impala, neither of which are really britpop anyway haha but I'll give the new one a listen when I can find it.

| cryptside Nice dude! What did you think of Glassjaw? Thrice is great as well, and if you dug Glassjaw I would check out letlive. and Finch's second full-length Say Hello to Sunshine.

| cryptside For melodic death metal, I would rec Darkest Hour-Undoing Ruin, The Black Dahlia Murder-Nocturnal, and With Dead Hands Rising-The Horror Grows Near (a mix of metalcore and melodic death metal). There is just more of a focus on melodic leads and solos, and most of the vox aren't as guttural compared to death metal. Definitely let me know what you think of these though!

| cryptside Hmm, well it is somewhat difficult to get into. My favorites are Cryptopsy-None So Vile, Decapitated-Winds of Creation, and Morbid Angel-Blessed Are the Sick are my top three. You may want to try out melodic death metak first though.
