I was reading an old list of mine, "sputnik hey Arnold" and remember how funny you were/are. good to see you around brother, your presence elevates the site tremendously. have fun at the show, Metallica is a great time. havent gotten to see pantera tho.

| porch careful now, fear and whiskey is meh
| Havey who what where why how and when
| KILL 69 n feelin fine
| Cygnatti I feel like they do that just to screw with my head and make me go like "wtf just happened!?" grrr, such jerks. what's the more chill and cool kinda jazz (I'm assuming, the kind that came before fusion), because that was kinda more of what I was looking for in the beginning.
| Cygnatti nah man, most of the "good" pop I been listening to you've already rated so you're pretty good. man, I've been trying to get into jazz (some of the older classics, and then some of the more abstract kind) and it ain't workin' out. :/ I figure I just need to give it more time, so we'll see in the future. I seem to enjoy funk a whole lot though.
| somnolence the lack of RAGTIME in your piechart is perplexing me
| Cygnatti hey mate, just wanted say that your pie chart looks so amazing nao. :"~@
| unclereich he's a bro for sure but he's no yankeedude
| unclereich id gladly trade cyg for you man, he's like your evil twin
| GiaNXGX ever heard of Jakob Ullmann? also http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IW3L3YW4rW8
| you bask in that coolness
| everything ok girl?
| GiaNXGX why would you jam Shiet Hellish Miasma,; Impish Tyrant is king. You also can Kazumoto Endo-it up with a cup of While We Were Out vodka, know what am sayin aw.
| Cygnatti hey yanksalot, you need to get on moar, ya know? anyways, I was hoping you could find me some 2013 albums because I'm pretty much putting this year off so far. stuff you think I'd like or stuff that'd interest me.
| GiaNXGX that's troo. I also heard about Potsy's departure, sad thing :( (tho we're still friends on fb!). what about a 25 items yankeerecs list or something like dat fo one of these days haha, we'll see. Just in case man, do you have rym? sputnik's gradually morphing into a whos-who ph mockery kitsch forums ugh, like what the ****.
| Keyblade dude check, think you'd dig. http://kausemus.bandcamp.com/
| Kman418 yeah i feel you. btmi/asob's stuff tends to attract a pretty specific crowd of people and if you don't fit into it you're not going to like it much at all. anywho you should rec me some weird ass stuff that i've never heard of i wanna try some new stuff
| Kman418 do you actually think asob are that bad??? :[
| BaselineOOO dude do you like animalia corolla and sporing promenade?
| slipnslide by him u mean me that is me hello nice to meet you :]
| slipnslide hello tankee http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcJWjKFZTLM :}}}!!!
| Penlord I used to listen to genesis and phil and peter gabriel all the time back in the day but I wore them out hard. and yeah I've seen American Psycho and it was great but it's been a while
| kitsch yeah ive had the record done for months, its just a matter of getting the artwork finalized and having the master sent off to NAC to dupe. takes a while.
| kitsch the reason why i offer the new record is cuz its a live recording
| kitsch ill give you a promo of my new record if you promise not to share it. send me your email and ill it on my shoutbox after i get it. im interested to hear opinions, most people i have shown it too so far think that ive finally found a groove.
| kitsch idk in my opinion if you can't play live youre not a musician. the pressure of a live setting has really improved my creativity. i have to perform live mixing as well as play my instruments all by myself. economy of motion.
| is repose en paix aja~
| kitsch rising from the red sand is really five "albums" compilations in a series but they flow so well into each other. greatest compilations of all time imo. plenty of other artists to delve into. i almost put a psychic tv album on there but i couldnt decide which one. i was worried dreams less sweet was too post punk/experimental folk for what you were wanting
| kitsch why does it always **** up formatting
| kitsch my favorite all time industrial albums... eeeeek thats really hard.coil - live one (Threshold House 2003)various artists - rising from the red sand volumes 1 - 5 (Statutory Tape 198?)various artists - port out starboard home (Posh Isolation 2012)swans - public castration is a good idea (Various Labels, Various Represses)DDAA - Nouveaux Bouinages Sonores (Dans La Période) (Front De L-Est 1992)
| kitsch yeah im opening for him. its pretty exciting. i think that you'll be a lot more impressed by my upcoming tape, its really drone heavy with an aggressive industrial layer. and then drekkas side.... well he's a master so.yeah your lists have some pretty good albums. i dont agree with some of the genre tags but ehh thats pretty stupid anyway. have you listened to much synth pop or minimal wave?
| kitsch https://www.facebook.com/events/166487956840539/this is my latest recording: http://assimilation.bandcamp.com/album/size-positionalthough my live sets have evolved to be a lot more complex. im releasing a split with drekka very soon. we played a show together, recorded each other's sets, traded material and then remixed it. im really happy with it, sounds so good. its the first project that i've been involved with that i will listen to just for enjoyment, which is a really cool feeling.
| GiaNXGX have you tried listening to ladies and gentlemen were floating in space while shooting?
| Storm In A Teacup I want you to know you are a good user and I agree with a lot of your philosophy and mostly just ****ed with you in the past for fun
| GiaNXGX [yayyy], good job playing my role while I was temporarily abscent! Nah, but seriously, awesome work.
| GiaNXGX dude if we hanged out irl we would smoke some purple haze and then skate and go bowling like badasses jamming tuvan throat singing
| demigod! wow that man or astroman album was incredible you know anything similar?
| SAPoodle Hey man. I checked out Jay Munly and he is indeed awesome. Will be listening to Woven Hand and 16 Horsepower soon too, thanks for the recs
| Kman418 sup man have you heard of julia? they're post hardcore similar to drive like jehu, i think you'd really dig them. you have to search julia [usa] to find them on the database btw
| SIMBOLIC http://creation.com/age-of-the-earthyyou wanted some scientifice evidence for what christians beleive ints not hard to find lol
| Penlord I'm a Collins fan. What's your favorite album?
| XGX Ah, it's just spotify radio. I've got around 800 scrobbles that will bump as soon as I get to pay my internet bills, bit expensive here though. But to be honest my lastfm charts aren't very accurate anyways. Many are the albums I play on casette or wax/cd, plus unfortunately my ipod doesn't scrobbles either.
| XGX uncle morty's the man
| XGX Same thing, though I guess my preferences may arise from a psychological condition, mdd. There's some Colin Newman that always hits hard, A-Z. Ambient's excellent for meditation, introspective, it could be said 'introverted music'.. sooo, Deathprod's Morals and Dogma. Lot of depressing blues, true, Karen Dalton. Jazzin with Williams' Life Time or jammin Triadic Memories also satisfies. Neofolk/funeral doom combos m/
| XGX not sure if that's healthy but goes samey with me, and vanguardist music epitomizes that. whats the most depressing thing you've ever heard, hmm?
| XGX ||depressing music makes me happy and happy music makes me depressed ~ damn
| XGX Contours is Rivers' best album
| CaptainDooRight haha I'm not in competition bro, this style of music is very different than potsy's and his release was really good. As you can see I 4'd it. I might even 4.5 it
| CaptainDooRight album is done: http://trvth.bandcamp.com/album/black-horse-plague
| XGX Glad you're diggin Sammy :*, rip. hmmmm, It really depends on what Schoenberg you mean, serialist (atonal) Schoenberg or early (Romaticist) Schoenberg.. ? Verklarte Nacht is always a good place to start, tho.
| XGX Most definitely Sam Rivers, the man was a beast and had one hell of a carreer, absolutely adore his fierce playing. Sammy's beewwps sit in the fine line between freeform and improv, with a balance unparalled. Jap and European sax players also rule. Fantastic choice btw, Trane was tha beast j/
| XGX niggers! his speech is inspiring but overall it's somewhere between a 3.5/4 for me. what's your favorite saxophonist bro?
| XGX no, they are just endurant albums. Now that I think about it, though, I've never picked my fav records.
| XGX hell yeah son that's the attitude
| XGX idc but banning my main is making sputnik more plebian agreed
| XGX yea shes sexy and artistic. rip Gian.
| XGX **** **** **** ****
| GiaNXGX Thank youuu mah nigga yankee
| silentpotato i dl'd turkulerimez 2, its the album that song is originally from
| GiaNXGX yes, just some free-improv/noise/jawa gamelan hindi crap
| GiaNXGX avant-garde is on a process of terminal decay, only pathetic scums like myself care about it ^~^. do you have an email?
| Cygnatti I honestly don't think you'll like any pop punk album I can think of, outside of nostalgic reasons. You said you like Alkaline Trio, which is a good choice. And people who don't like pop punk tend to like Joyce Manor a lot, so there's that (although I did see you give that a 3). So yeah. I can't think of anything for ya. :/
| GiaNXGX you mean nsb's albums, artwork tumblr (or both!).
| GiaNXGX yayyy, but i need you to join the elite diletantt art army http://no.tumblr.com/ plz
| GiaNXGX u need a new avatar alex is 0LD
| GiaNXGX I didn't meant it wasn't folk but that a lot of it isn't, nevermind. Oh that's fair, but the recording quality of yt is s***ty, here's my cling 2 u baby http://grooveshark.com/#!/album/intimate-rituals/4306903.
| GiaNXGX hmmmmm, how does Horatiu 'rules' if as far as I know you haven't heard him yet? I got Intimate Rituals on cd, (support!), but here's another fantastic composition I like to call the ' multiplied string quartet'. Cheers http://rutracker.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3389639
| GiaNXGX primitivism takes a lot from raga folklore which isn't 'folk' at all. But anyways, it def. depends on which player we're talkin. Fahey and Basho are some of my biggest influences on guitar I'm glad you also dig them!
| Keyblade holy s*** that was friggin fast...I knew I skills renamed it quicker. ask base yo
| Keyblade hmm really? it works when I try it. maybe u need an account idk
| Keyblade yeah i'm uppin' it right now. is there like a sput last.fm group? i can just post it there.
| coneren dude i like youre campaign come to tinycat with me we can discuss this
| Cygnatti oh wow, this one should work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwQxIOlm_xQ
| Cygnatti Hey, can you give this a listen. I've been bumping the guy for like 6 months already, unsuccessfully however. The album only has 5 ratings, two of which are mind, and one of which is my friend irl, and the other 2 are some other guys idk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded
| GiaNXGX wtf Rothko comes with why patterns, or, at least that's what my cd came with.Anyways, weird press set aside; why patterns is a turning point for Feldman. I believe that's the gateway to his 'late' works as it basically encapsulates the limited palette and claustrophobic, diminishingly suffocating, 'breathing' sound those works are known for.
| GiaNXGX what do you enjoy the most, sir. Is it rothko or 'why patterns?' ?
| Havey ive heard of his music but thats it. will give the list a look later but i gotta go, will give it a bump for now tho
| Havey agreed about diabate i see you've been digging lots of foreign /culturally rich music lately

| GiaNXGX teenage ninja turtles persona you evolved into alex grey pensive persona you
| GiaNXGX no youth? yeh t's a great album but struck me as a too contrived piece sometimes, didn't digged it but had fun. Enemies List have a bunch of samey bands, u shall dig Dweller on the Threshold.

| Atari I know nevermind lol
| BaselineOOO this is a nice avant-folk song for sure http://nallemusic.bandcamp.com/track/secret-of-the-seven-sirens
| BaselineOOO yea I love that album, you would also probably dig The Gray Field Recordings-Hypnagogia and Fursaxa-Mycorrhizae Realm, these bitches sound like witches too!
| JamieTwort Just curious to know what you thought if you had found it. Yeah I know the feeling, so much stuff to check out.
| JamieTwort Did you ever manage to find a link for my dig, Nucleus - We'll Talk About it Later?
| 666Micrograms Hey can you recomend me some stuff in the vein of Mount Fuji, like stellar, epic, well adorned soundscapes but maybe now as dark. I adore the style but I've been listening to metal for too long and don't know where to start.
| wackydelly Hey man, sorry it took me so long to respond to your request. Sadly, I just stream those releases on Bandcamp. I'm cheap.
| Cygnatti well, yeah on spotify, it's all there man
| DeafMetal nice profile pic, it was my avatar for a long time love nosferatu
| Havey I have physical copies of Tollund Men and Natural Assembly and I don't have the supplies needed to transfer audio from vinyl/cassettes to my computer. But aside from those two I should be able to put the others up for you to download, but you'll have to wait a couple of days as the files are on my computer and I'm away from home during christmas :]
| Havey Mainly blogs, mediafire and occasionally http://newalbumreleases.net/, I almost never use torrents. I had to buy some of em though, and some are (or have been) on bandcamp/soundcloud. Let me know if there's any albums that you're looking for in particular, I might be able to throw up some downloads links for you.
| evilford dude help me complain in meds thread if you disagree with sonic's banning. thanks. http://www.sputnikmusic.com/forums/showthread.php?p=18978378#post18978378

| liledman I know Sightings and Emptyset are on spotify, that's where I got to them. Theologian I got a random download from a friend at some point, but the rest I found links for. Give this site a look: http://avaxhome.ws/music
| hankdee27 I don't have a download for the Movement LP, but you can listen to all of it for free on Spotify.
| ComeBiteTheApple100 Regarding your rather uncalled for comments on my "Overrated List"They were MY opinions which I made clear. There was no need for your elitist way of talking, something I aim to get away from on Suptnik as I assumed that the people here were open minded and listened to real musicI could easily attack you for liking Elvis Costello and Andrew WK, but I won't because that's your opinion, if you like them, I respect the fact you like them. But comments like that are not needed thank you
| RS085 Ah, right. Bombay Bicycle Club is on the front page of Rolling Stone. Got it.
| MisterTornado Yeah sure, shoot me your e-mail, I'll send 'em to ya there.
| Atari Yeah it's a ****ing sweet game, as are almost all super nintendo games.
| Atari Zelda is my profile pic but my avatar is ninja turtle related ;)
| Atari Yo check out my avatar. You ever played that game?
| silentpotato sorry man, i got them both off what.cd (which is a private site if you dont know of it) so i cant be much help there :[
| Yuli Dude I don't even own it, I've just been listening to the album off that Bandcamp link.
| MisterTornado Cool, glad you like them man. Both great albums: KTBT - http://kingtearsbattrip.bandcamp.com/album/king-tears-bat-trip/
| Skrapyard I don't think your in an advantageous enough position to ask me to do that, especially when it comes in the form of a Dre reference. Nice try, though.
| Skrapyard "Skrap you are so above i bow to you i bow" Perhaps you forgot how to read, lol.
| Sniff If this would have been facebook I would have sent a friend request to you.
| Skrapyard My bad, I thought you were really giving me some elitist s***.
