| CaptainDooRight Yo! Good! Chillin! Hbu?? Yeah I peeped it. I gotta get a few more watches in but I?m for a loss of words. It feels very unique from anything I?ve seen. Super cool vibes and dare I say it had some matrix vibes too? Tbh I?m still processing what I?ve just witnessed
| JohnnyoftheWell yo AOA finally have a sput page! https://www.sputnikmusic.com/bands/AOA-JPN/155650/

| JohnnyoftheWell Uhuh! https://www.sputnikmusic.com/album/138865/Zhou-Xun-??/
| JokineAugustus Just noticed you like Alienation Mental. I'm just jamming Ball Spouter for the first time. Love me some crazy czech dm.
| Avagantamos prepare to eat the words of your U-void synthesyzer soundoff
| TalonsOfFire Hey Animals, I made a list of my all time favorite songs if youre interested: list.php?listid=199040
| Trifolium Nice! Will give it a go as soon as this new weirdo jazz record frees me from its grip again!
| mindleviticus Thanks dude I appreciate it! I finally put up both projects on rateyourmusic too :]
| mindleviticus I checked out your album. Very nice dude! I like how consistent the atmosphere was all the way through, reminded me a lot of like dj teebee, great stuff keep it up!
| Sowing Would love to have you! Please just shoot me an email (sowingsputnik@gmail.com) with the following info: your band/project's official bio (if you don't have one, make one up), genre(s), band lineup, official website or bandcamp, and your most recent release. After that, I'll shoot you a series of general questions for you to answer. Cheers!
| normaloctagon man u must b pretty busy to not have that new burial rated u lil dolphinz stan!!! : P
| rellik009 boom whaddup rellik here to tell you that you should check out daily rituals by space360 cuz its cool thai techno
| TalonsOfFire I guess we both feel similarly mixed on the new KD huh : /
| Koris Thanks man, I appreciate it! I'm thinking of making the next song entirely a cappella, so we'll see how that turns out :]
| Koris Hey man, here's some of my music if you wanna hear it. Again, it's in MIDI, but I'm still happy at how it turned out: https://audiomack.com/brendan-schroer/song/13940057
| TVC15 Sick dude, here?s an invite to the server https://discord.gg/u6D3ZRUWGP
| TVC15 Drifter is the dude who got me to listen to the album lol. And I think one of the songs was also in that Aronofsky movie Pi. I should probably revisit it, my 2.5 was probably too harsh. Dyou have a Discord btw? I'm in a server with Drifter, and several other Sput users like Minushuman, Norma, FullofSounds, and Ian if you wanna join
| Drifter i never even noticed you had mj cole's sincere 5d holy moly you might have the best ratings on this site omg
| Trifolium Your new EP contains some coll stuff man! Really nice, darker than your previous ones, right?
| Relinquished yea I bothered to check it out cuz of you (and the name). it?s so cleannnn.
| Avagantamos yo how did you listen to the new access to arasaka EP? I couldn't figure out how to get to it with the official link
| TalonsOfFire How about that new Sweet Trip huh?? I absolutely love it, I knew they wouldn?t disappoint but it totally exceeded my expectations even more.
| parksungjoon did u do the cover for this https://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/sugar-wounds/mechanical-friends/
| Trifolium Oooooh that sounds fantastic going to check for sure. Thanks for the shout!
| Drifter hey I know we've never talked before but you have some killlllller ratings dude. The Blue Nile ones in particular and now this Alexander O'Neal one. The Blue Nile are probably my favorite band nowadays ngl.
| parksungjoon found that completely randomly while i was looking for something entirely different (french house agoria, literally one letter off)
| parksungjoon you're a real industrious sod aren't you? dunno how you do it but its always impressive
| parksungjoon yes and yes - https://data-log.bandcamp.com/album/halos
| Avagantamos it was a nice listen! not quite as to my tastes as your more dnb oriented stuff, but still well done
| mindleviticus I checked out that lotus peace processor record, pretty solid man. Really like Circle has a sick nu jazz feel to it. There's something about the way you recorded the instruments, it's like they're stuck in a tube or something, it's pretty neat, gives it this otherworldly vibe. I get a lot of experimental mellow jazz influence out of it.
| TalonsOfFire Hope you been doing well dude! Don't forget to check out The Future Sound of London albums Lifeforms and Dead Cities since you like Cascade so much, both essential ambient electronic.
| Colton Yeah man, very smooth and enjoyable listen
| rellik009 wow that's one obscure af album right there XD. thx for the directions man :]
| rellik009 yo man I couldnt help but read one of your shoutbox posts on somebody else's profile page... and I was gonna ask if you have a link for the album Beyond Blue by Nookie? I can only find one song off the album from Youtube :[ Happy New Year btw :D
| parksungjoon https://riantreanor.bandcamp.com/album/file-under-uk-metaplasm
| Trifolium Dude I wanted to exclaim my love for A Hundred Days Off and shout out how good it is, and you're literally the only one who understands. So here goes: A Hundred Days Off is SO GOOD. Aaaaaah! Thanks for listening and have a lovely day. We might to review the orphan Underworld albums soon.
| TalonsOfFire I'll try listening to it today or tmrw. Maybe I've been enlightened to more eclectic electronic and drum and bass music since last time
| TalonsOfFire I think I tried Face of God by Julien a while ago, remember it being a little too bonkers sounding for me haha
| GhandhiLion I'm glad you liked the new Bob Wilson and The Brown Eyes album :D
| mindleviticus I would say most of James Ferraro?s later stuff at least is closer to opn like new age/ progressive electronic than it is vaporwave but it is like a very early and better version of vaporwave imo
| mindleviticus Far Side Virtual is one of the best albums ever imo and does contain any slowed down samples, all just very original muzak/progressive electronic that can be described as protovaporwave
| mindleviticus Wow I find that hard to believe tbh your sound has a similar vaporwaveish aesthetic to James Ferraro. I would check out his EP Four Pieces for Mirai and Far Side Virtual. They are both really great.
| parksungjoon sweeee love the art and the bandcamp bg too haha
| mindleviticus There were a lot of things I wanted to change about Just World but hindsight is 20/20
| mindleviticus And thanks! Yeah most of that stuff was written when I was listening to a s*** load of steely dan and frank zappa so a lot of that came out into the music. I think this might be the last one though on this project at least for a little bit, it's a bit too time consuming for me rn
| mindleviticus I was a little apprehensive about the vocals on your EP but your style is coming together pretty damn well, it's like if Underworld, A Guy Named Gerald, James Ferraro, Sweet Trip and Vladislav Delay were all blended together and it sounds really good most of the time man keep it up, this album is definitely the most focused and cohesive of your myles project so far
| mindleviticus Btw listening now and Solar Soundscape is a jaaam dude damn
| mindleviticus A record I really love that you might as well is Chicago Transit Authority :) very steely dan-esque progressive jazz rock
| mindleviticus I just put out a new lp yesterday too - https://noppslyde.bandcamp.com/album/only-for-the-driven I?ll give your album a spin when I get home tn :)
| mindleviticus Hey dude, sorry for the late reply this whole year has been a rollercoaster tbh. Yeah Pygmalion is perfect imo although lately I've been listening to Souvlaki more. I rechecked out your album too its pretty nice! I liked Lorica the most probably. It's a good running album for the most part haha, when it isn't shifting genres.
| CaptainDooRight Yooo Through Us in Radar was pretty sick. Actually flowed really well and I was able to listen to all of it while working today. I dug that part with the street fighter like fighting sounds and the samples throughout were great. Good stuff. It?s cool you have all these project outlets to express yourself. I jammed under Dark Blue Blanket today again for the feels
| parksungjoon https://zenxienz.bandcamp.com/track/missing-california
| Krelkin Neptunian Maximalism is kind of a shame because i honestly dug the vibe they were going for, sort of a dark brooding zeuhl sound like Magma at their heaviest, but the 2 hour run time killed it for me. too long without enough variation, I say
| parksungjoon yuh current value has some swee stuff going into drill n bass and breakcore territory at times... based soundoff
| Krelkin dude you're an amazing source for recs. don't think i've ever not dug something you threw a high rating on. and indeed, your newest joint is awesome!
| Trifolium That must be good!!!!! I'll check it in the (home) office tomorrow, looking forward to it!
| Trifolium Oh man, I really liked it! You've got a nicely diverse style dude, but it does all work together very nicely.
| Trifolium Oh yeah, curious what you've been doing!! Will definitely give it a go. Thanks for letting me know!
| Colton Only had time to listen to the first track, will listen to the rest later. I liked it though, definitely encapsulates that oceanic sound you were going for but it's also very vibrant. Blows my mind honestly how people on this site produce such complex stuff
| JohnnyoftheWell Keep your eyes on the homepage for the next hr or so, something big is coming (and imma check that album v soon, sorry!!!)
| oltnabrick https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6s60YVjTY0
| JohnnyoftheWell hello mr. summit please recommend me an album that sounds like Fish i hope you are well !
| Avagantamos makes me want to get a new car with a bossed out sound system. some of the bass hits on I love the way are a little overpowering on my stock toyota camry speakers
| Avagantamos I recently got Beyond Blue on CD and driving around under the hot summer sun with a fine bowl of kush has given me a whole new appreciation for the album. makes me feel like I'm glowing like the sun!
| Trifolium New Pinch is out dude! I see you dig his debut. This one is super trippy, could see you dig it. On my first spin now. https://www.sputnikmusic.com/bands/Pinch/8258/
| random Which person is you in your Sput Yearbook photo though, if you don?t mind me asking? And not much.
| random Hello! Nice to meet you! I saw you on the Sput Yearbook photos this year. I also like Underworld because of the video game ?Wipeout 2097?.
| TalonsOfFire Those two albums should be more well known cause Aah! Sealife is one of their best songs. I'm excited to jam Seefeel tomorrow, they seem right up my alley
| TalonsOfFire Yeah Sweet Trip are wonderful. The new song they just released, In Sound We Found Each Other, is really good. I'm sure you've heard it
| Trifolium Dude I'm so happy I finally decided to check, they are totally amazing and their discog feels so incredibly rich, like you can forever find new details and cool little things. Will check both Margarine and your stuff for sure!
| GhandhiLion I don't like most neo-prog bands. It's been a few years since I have listened to it, so mb I will rate them higher if I checked them now.
| BenThatsMyJamin Think it's just one dude! I absolutely adore his Isares EP (not sure if you've heard it), have listened to a couple of other albums but they all seem quite stylistically diverse so I'm struggling to find similar stuff I can really vibe to in his discog
| mindleviticus Hey man I got a new track for my noppslyde project for this new album coming up soon :] - https://soundcloud.com/user-443575138/golden-opportunity
| Bedex you're thinking of the wrong dexbro man, I haven't heard that album in years :]
| TVC15 Ofc dude! Can't wait for more!
| TVC15 Listening to your EP rn (this might be the quickest I've gotten to one of your new releases lol). Kaena has such a dope drum beat
| mindleviticus Checked out your new ep. While Im not a HUGE fan of that style of dnb/neurostep/any similar kinda style, your stuff has an almost vaporwave/aesthetic quality to it that I think is fitting for the internet underground chaos music scene.
| Hodenfresser HELL YEAH DUDE I'm glad you liked it! Yours has some pretty neat synth work, very pleasant to listen to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
| mindleviticus Haha thanks. I figured out of the 3 tracks there you?d like the last one the most, the other two are way more IDM centric
| mindleviticus I checked out your release. It was decent didn't find it as memorable as Find Me, but there were definitely some interesting ideas. I have actually have some new Hyacinth material coming up very soon since the quarantine has me cooped up.
| CaptainDooRight And here?s my classical guitar concert album https://embracetheweather.bandcamp.com/album/from-the-heart
| CaptainDooRight dang Gina! Did I ever share my electronic album with you? https://embracetheweather.bandcamp.com/album/idk
| TalonsOfFire Yeah I like your style a lot! Are your biggest influences Sweet Trip and Seefeel? I need to jam more of them
| mindleviticus Sorry for the late reply, I'll check it out today man!
| Bedex I don't get how it has such a low average! It's like a concentrate of their first two LPs, but darker
| Bedex 4.5 on the CoL EP awesome man, it really doesn't get the love it deserves
| rellik009 can understand why you thought that, it's good on its own, but not when compared to the broader spectrum of music
| rellik009 Regardless, I found an excellent album recently, I think you'd like it: https://genewildestband.bandcamp.com/album/spectral-terrestrial
| rellik009 aw man, only 2.5 for Combustion ? :(
| parksungjoon was recently shown this, seems p gd imo. give it a try if u want https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTo-ZIIiTEE
| parksungjoon https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=190959
| parksungjoon no i dont think ive ever heard of this guy at all actually
| parksungjoon and yea no worries man, i've been adding some stuff here and there lately
| parksungjoon do you know better stuff in this vein? btw i added the other polykroma alb to the db, as well as the one released under "transient stellar"
| parksungjoon psst. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBr8dWjrPF8
| JohnnyoftheWell Yo this Walrus is really great! gives more more shoegazey Supercar vibes big time, as well as that mopey Syrup16g feel
| parksungjoon i have added this to the db go rate it https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=348908
| rellik009 yo dude speaking of vapor I know you gave a 3.0 to dds.vmw, but definitely check out this guy, you won't be disappointed: https://bedlamtapes.bandcamp.com/album/celebrating-digital-artifacts
| rellik009 s***, you made me like the new macintosh plus single now. Your music slaps dude!
| parksungjoon thats ****in awesome dude. and what ive heard of your music was good imo so m/
| parksungjoon https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/80927/Alex-Reece-Pulp-Fiction---Chill-Pill/
| JohnnyoftheWell That Walrus album looks cool and I'm in the mood for a random new dig, tell me more?!
| DePlazz https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/80915/Various-Artists-Drum--Bass-Torque/#lastpost
| parksungjoon https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=1034220
| parksungjoon sorry, i talked to sandwich. he said my submission did go through but mods have to approve it. hence it not showing. ty anyway! almost done now
| Bedex dude sway is goooood thanks for bumping that thread
| parksungjoon i revd something u prob dont care about but m/ https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/80856/Sadistik-Exekution-The-Magus/
| DoofDoof I think the new Destroyer is up to standard but the first Sput review up is a 2.5...
| parksungjoon ok i will. but no more. im basically already full at this point, just going thru them to double check. thank you mate
| parksungjoon i actually havent heard any of his albums yet. just singles/EPs. but im a pretty big fan. found him last year
| parksungjoon i dont recall if ive asked this before but have you heard floating points and if so what do you think
| parksungjoon sent it to a friend of mine who also makes stuff on the side and has serious audio eng experience, said "sounds overly compressed", "lacks dynamics", "too much distortion". just in case u wanted some serious feedback from someone who knows wtf hes tlaking about XD
| parksungjoon yeah your ideas are sex but the production feels a little more abrasive than intended at times
| parksungjoon man this is some wild s***. mixing feels kinda rough, tho im no producer maybe thats what you were going for idk
| parksungjoon i''ll figure it out. man i swear went from 0 to 100 real fast (metaphorically, not about album count) its like im drowning in potential stuff to show off lol
| parksungjoon hear me out here. you think 4hero and gerald are worth shouting out or do peeps already know em here?
| parksungjoon oh ye dude also i forgot to check ur thing gonna do that today hopefully. didnt even know u made music tbh thats cool
| Cygnatti you should listen to dis:https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=345908
| parksungjoon honestly we can do it the other way too. like you can just add 90s dnb and trance that isnt there and rec some stuff for the list. i deeefffff need to put makoto on there, im def puttin sasha's xpander, cant think of too too many things from those genres tho cuz so much of it was singles instead of albums
| parksungjoon nah its ok actually here is fine. idgaf who spoils themselves. ill get back to you tomorrow though gotta sleep
| parksungjoon get good soon man. get well too. me im just czechin stuff for the list, turns out i was a fool to worry, theres plenty of cool underappreciated s*** out there. u wanna talk about electronic s*** or would u rather be surprised when i post it?
| parksungjoon no rush, itll prob take me like a month to get enough material
| parksungjoon dont tell anyone but......................................................................................................................................................... im makin a new hundo alb list in the vein of my old 2016 one. this is our chance to get some more electronic rep around these parts. but theres still so mcuh stuff missin from the db smh
| parksungjoon brooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo add elements to the db
| JohnnyoftheWell I saw ;] making my way through it (and associated albums) slowly, gonna hop on Everything But The Girl's final three next, and then I guess the Blue Nile. And true re. Long Season - it's amazing for and beyond what it is, but it does have a narrower scope
| JohnnyoftheWell Hell yeah, awesome album! Preferring this to Long Season by a hair, q excited to drop into Kuuchuu Camp sometime
| neekafat You're always doing a ton of really creative electronic stuff so I wouldn't have been surprised hahaha
| neekafat Sounds good dude! You're Black Barrel too??
| JohnnyoftheWell Oh heck, not sure about a couple of these Halica tracks but I could listen to Jelly Charm on loop forever
| TalonsOfFire Also be sure to jam more Porcupine Tree and Future Sound of London!
| TalonsOfFire Understandable. Did you hear the new Aes Dana? I thought it was solid but not as impressive as Pollen
| TalonsOfFire You didn't dig Garden of?? Even Ezra or Child of Rage didn't do it for ya?
| JohnnyoftheWell You don't have discord :O it's a social media site, super handy for servers and groupchats! think there is a client you can dl, but you don't need to bother with that registration is v easy
| DoofDoof liked the new album, quite rave-y this time, a lot of 90s influence
| JohnnyoftheWell Wanna take a trip round to my discord server? j-music dedicated in theory, but would be a good vibe to have you there!
| RoundOnEndHiInMiddle i see that adamn 5! libra season is easily one of the most overlooked hip-hop ep's out there. blank body speaks for himself. try NVRLND by yung bambi, blank body produces that whole ep as well, i feel like you'd dig
| mindleviticus Hey dude your new album is possibly your best to date! Really great stuff man.
| CaptainDooRight Great stuff! I enjoyed many tracks. Sounds pretty complex at times yet absorbable. I like how some songs have a continuous melody throughout that the other instruments builds off.
| Jasdevi087 actually that whole run of three songs on the end might be the best closing to an album i've heard in ages
| CaptainDooRight Thanks for that feedback bro! Yeah Ive been going more towards the straight metal side of things with Trvth. I miss the old experimental days but I?ve decided it?s too confusing to do that with Trvth so if I ever do experimental stuff it?ll be on a separate project. That way the listeners always know what they?re gonna get on Trvth. I?ll keep you posted on any experimental projects. You would probably be the only I let know because I don?t know many who appreciate that style like you.
| CaptainDooRight yoo Animals! check my new lp! https://trvth.bandcamp.com/album/inordinate-and-surpassing
