  • RondoToKG Yeah we're rebuilding though. We have one of the best GM's, in two years we'll be in the playoffs again. Maybe even next season if things fall our way with Kevin Love.

  • Xenophanes I've listened to "Untitled(5)" on Palmless Prayer perhaps hundreds of times and still love it tremendously. Good rating.

  • SadAndHolyGlow So, I listened to "You'd Prefer an Astronaut." A great album. Not quite as amazing as "Downward Is Heavenward," though. They just craft really cool songs with really memorable riffs and lyrics.

  • SadAndHolyGlow I settled on it. 4.5; THANK YOU for reminding me about this album. It is classic.

  • SadAndHolyGlow I'd argue that the religious themes give it way more emotion.

  • SadAndHolyGlow Oh my, this As Cities Burn album is amazing so far. They were such a boundary-breaking band. I am familiar with a lot of their stuff, but I've never listened to this album in full until now.

  • SadAndHolyGlow Alt-J, I need to check out. Codeseven, never heard of. They seem intriguing, though. Songs:Ohia seems cool. Ray LaMontagne has an awesome voice, so I'll definitely be checking his stuff out in full. "Stanley Climbfall" I've loved since I was young; it's their best album. No joke, I just bought "You'd Prefer an Astronaut" yesterday at a CD shop for 4 dollars haha, so I've been excited because "Downward Is Heavenward" is genius. Dredg is beautiful, and I've been meaning to listen that classic.

  • SadAndHolyGlow I keep meaning to listen to "Puzzle," because I love "Only Revolutions." As Cities Burn is solid, so I need to hear that, even though I wouldn't really consider it alternative. But, like you said, ALTERNATIVE is a broad description. I own "XO" so I'll get on that. Kaddisfly I had just heard of a few days ago. Not a fan of MO, but I'll give it a shot. Copeland can be boring to me, but I'll try this one out because I've heard that it's their best. That Incubus album seems really hot.

  • SadAndHolyGlow Hmmm... The Classic Crime - "The Silver Cord" / Coheed and Cambria - "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth" / Planes Mistaken for Stars - "F**k with Fire" / Mae - "The Everglow" / Mineral - "The Power of Failing"
