"Man Into Demon" is just the best god damn thing. Actually the entire album is just the best god damn thing. Every single thing I've ever wanted in a heavy record is contained in Reach Beyond the Sun's 34 minutes. This is the true follow up to That Within Blood Ill-Tempered.

Reach Beyond the Sun contains fantastic instrumentation, interesting songs and song structures, a lot of energy, and remarkable consistency. Though not perfect- the second half isn't quite as strong as the first- it's undoubtedly one of the best albums of the year. 4.3
