A pleasant surprise. More energetic and showing that Taking Back Sunday understand they don't have to be a monotonous snoozefest to showcase maturity, this is a pretty encouraging album for fans.

This album is a natural progression for the boy's in TBS, they will never be the band that released TAYF again and I understand and respect that. Happiness Is.., through and through a great and extremely cohesive record. Drums really shine on this record.

After the mediocrity of their self-titled, Taking Back Sunday are back on track with Happiness Is. Lazzara's vocals aren't the most inspired, but the reunion of Nolan and Cooper works well on here. The album starts and ends strong, but tracks like "All the Way" and "It Takes More" lack the fire and energy of the album's highlights.
