It's hard to blame Steven Wilson for generally being on artistic low ever since 2003-2004. Why bother if people who listen to your music are so deaf that even this piece of crap sells?

The follow-up to the self-titled debut has the same characteristics of its predecessor. Power and intensity are sporadic (''Once'', ''Where Is My Love?'') and actually are very welcomed in a rather mellow record. Other recommended tracks are ''1,000 People'', ''Miss You'', ''Epidemic''

A great collection of progressive rock songs that despite this fact remain quite accessible. 'Christenings' is a real highlight, might be one of the strongest songs Wilson ever wrote.

Maybe it was for a very simple thing (listened these bunch of songs in a grey evening autumn day) that I fell immediatly in love with the album. Aviv Geffen maybe is a celebrity in Israel but I never heard about him. I was shocked with the feeling he shows playing the acoustic guitar and singing with Steve Wilson (the brilliant mind behind Porcupine Tree). It's simple amazing. The last songs "Where Is My Love?" and "End of the World" made me cry like a child. What a sad and beatiful poems! Impossible to be a hit anywhere (what a shame) although all the tunes are catchy like any McCartney / Lennon song. Any XXI century alternative / indie pop/rock band can't equal this (almost) perfect cd. r

I find the sophomore follow-up slightly more entertaining than its predecessor for some reason. I realize the material on both discs is pretty similar, and that this one doesn't do anything to break any new ground for the "band"...still, there's something about the long-play experience of this one that seems to be more flowing than Blackfield I.
