Teenage angst, self-deprecation, and the human race don't necessarily render Three Days Grace endearing as much as the topics result in the band becoming stale and powerless. Hopefully Adam Gontier worshipper Matt Walst and the other three nobodies don't reach Crystal Mountain, because TDG's newest full-length effort Human is certainly far from the sound of perseverance.

The words trivial and boring don't even begin to do this stale recycled album justice. You know every riff and chorus before it happens and every song though all in the 3 to 4 minute mark seem much longer. Also the new vocalist lacks all conviction and power of the older one making the lyrics sound even more immature and half hazardly thrown together than they do on their own. The only memorable part of this whole release is the chorus of Painkiller

Pretty obvious that the previous singer was the most creative part of these guys. Enjoyed "Transit of Venus" but
this is embarrassingly bad. Also, Matt Walst sucks. The end.

Easily the worst effort by Three Days Grace thus far. When Adam Gontier left, he took the backbone
of 3DG songwriting with him. The lyrics are poor, the musicianship and production is poor, and new
frontman Matt Walst is trying WAY too hard to sound exactly like Gontier. It is very difficult to
find something of a silver lining in this overall lousy album.

So far, we have seen three songs from this new "Three Days Grace" and they are absolutely awful. I doubt we will see any change with the other songs on the album. After Adam left, I gave Matt a very optimist chance. I was looking forward to him being good, I didn't want this band to go to shit just because Adam left. "Painkiller", "I Am Machine", and "Human Race" are all very boring songs as the lyrics, instrumental parts, and the singing are all very boring in my opinion. I gave this new band a chance but it seems that after Adam left, it all sounds different, not just the vocals. Very disappointed in this band so far...
