Not since Opeth have my ears been graced with such spectacular musical glory. Persefone deserves so much more than they've been given, and they certainly deserve some album reviews. They are a phenomenal band that I am ashamed not to have known of sooner.

Making an album longer than an hour and composed of three 20 minute songs is a pretty bold move. But if you thought you'd get bored for even a moment, you are sorely mistaken. Core is Persefone's greatest effort and remains as a progressive death metal giant.
