The more and more I listen to this LP from Neck Deep, the more that one word comes to mind: FUN. This album is just loaded with nothing but a good time. The riffs are fun, the lyrics are fun (at most times), the vocals are fun. This is everything that I've been searching for in a pop-punk release. Hats off to this band for crafting a really excellent album and shattering their 'run of the mill' shit pop punk that a ton of bands are trying out nowadays. Other than a few weak tracks (December, Citizens of Earth, Serpents) this album is consistent as hell and is one of my favorite pop punk LP's I've ever heard.

This album has everything I could ever want in a pop-punk record. It has amazing, catchy
instrumentals that always sounds different enough for each track to be memorable. The lyrics are
simple, yet carry enough weight and meaning to not sound unintelligent. It's impossible for me to
listen to this record and not be in a good mood afterwards.

Neck Deep release a refreshing reminder of the more fun and upbeat aspect of pop punk aside from their more moody and sad contemporaries. Catchy choruses and guitar riffs all fit into a fun listen, but it does suffer a bit from the cliches of this style of pop punk. Still a great listen full of fun hooks.

This album really is incredible from start to finish. One of the best pop punk albums of the
modern era, for sure. I started listing some tracks to recommend and realized that listing seven
tracks was ridiculous. 'Kali Ma', 'Gold Steps', and 'Serpents' are getting the most play from me.
'December' is going to be their new go-to acoustic song to replace 'A Part of Me', and as much as
I love 'A Part of Me', I'm okay with this assumption because 'December' is fucking great.

Neck deep transforms from a TSSF copycat to a band that finally found its sound. With a more melodic sound
reminiscent of the early 2000's pop punk and song topics that aren't about breakups, this band realises that it's meant
to pump up a crowd whist also talking about journeys and starting from the bottom.
