flawless. perfect. incredible. it's as if the great U-God himself drifted down and blessed G-Eazy with the skills of all rappers ever. mesmerizing record.

Gerald Earl Gillum is definitely on some kind of drug, but said drug can't do anything to redeem the expressionless swagger that When It's Dark Out gives off. There's hardly a sense of urgency to be found throughout this 2015 studio album, not enough color, and the guest appearances on it serve to only be underwhelming at best. "For This" is one of the few semi-decent cuts, as the chemistry between G-Eazy and IAMNOBODI proves passable and the production suits the mood of the track well. Snoozeville and G-Eazy's third full-length effort are definitely not far from one another.

When It's Dark Out is G Eazy's second studio album. This album was a good effort by G Eazy but is way overhyped. G Eazy has potential but this album fell short of it. The lyrics were decent but they're extremely repetitive. Also his rhymes are pretty simplistic. While his flow is on beat most of the time, his flow is very boring. It puts you to sleep. The production was alright and has a chill vibe to it with nice bass. Also the features were mad mediocre. But some of the songs were good. When It's Dark Out is decent and has its flaws but G Eazy has potential and I'll be looking forward towards his new project.
