This album deserves a 5. Its sound is completely original and unlike anything I've heard. Its diverse, its raw, hard driven, and just amazing to listen to. It's a ground breaking debut for the band and its very well constructed. CKY Vol. 1 is a classic album for sure.

Fun, alt hard rock with a borderline metal association. Smooth too in a way akin to say a late 90s early 00s alt tinted Blue Oyster Cult.

This band helped me get into metal. Theyre sort of like pop rock to me, sort of because it has everything i personally like about rock music, and I've been listening to their first 4 albums since I was in elementary school. This album is the one that holds up over the others. Check this out, but there's low chance you'll like it as much as I do

CKY's a band that's good at what they do. The music doesn't take itself seriously and neither does the band. This is good for the hooky guitar riffs and almost story-teller lyrics, and is a nice bridge to their future, more 'refined' work.
