More like a 2.9, but the dancehall elements are way better integrated than they were on Views and there's plenty of full, enjoyable pop moments like 'Get It Together' and 'Teenage Fever,' which is a surprisingly strange little song. The features are kind of boring though and the whole thing is just too long once again. Concision and editing would do Aubrey some good.

While this is a step in the right direction, it's executed way too mediocre. Production ranges
from pretty nice to pretty boring and the features are generally great. But, it's way too long and
way too jumbled. But I guess that's a playlist, right? Young Thug and Giggs have the best moments
on this thing.

If it weren't for the fucking trashload of filler, I would like this project more. More Life gets a lot of undeserved shit, and this is coming from someone who hates Drake.

I'm a bit confused as to why More Life even exists. That's not to say it's a bad comp, just that I'm not really following Drake's process here. If these are truly just B-sides to Views, why couldn't he have done the smart thing and carved the fat off of both of these releases and combined the great stuff into one album? That album would've been great. There are songs here like "Passionfruit", "Get It Together", "4422", "KMT", and "Do Not Disturb" that are really good songs, but the project as a whole just seems so lazy and haphazardly thrown together. It's got a decently consistent, drifty atmosphere, but Drake himself and many of the features here seem like they're just phoning it in more often than not. If he did this for a cash grab, it's a fine and ultimately successful cash grab, but in the spirit of playing devils advocate and looking at things a bit more cynically, why does he need more money when he's already filthy rich and another excellent album could've done way more for his legacy and reputation? Not bad for what it is, but it could've been part of something much greater.

Better than Views (which isn't saying much) with better production and performances but the same shitty writing is all over this thing. It's only more tolerable because he actually tried with the dancehall elements (for example, I love the beat of Passionfruit. Some of my favorite Drake production). Also, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long.

all the problems views had are here, once again. the tracks are all over the place, with generic dancehall tracks appearing right after trap bangers. the trap production is very solid but the same can't be said about the slower songs. the awful struggle bars are once again here to make things cringy. the list of flaws goes on and on. what saves this playlist from being awful are the features, who for the most part do a great job at keeping things exciting. they do outshine drake, though and that's not a good thing. 2+

Stylistically this is an improvement over Views, and often times harkens back to the sounds of his past albums
(especially Take Care on the production side). Still, even with some interesting sounds here and there, the
bloated run time once again weighs the overall quality down. Also, the ballads on this are fucking
boooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrriiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnngggg.
