Anyone who has heard of Accept, already knows what this album contains; balls-out, hard-hitting, aggressive '80s heavy metal with hints of hard rock that, on the band's newer material, may bring to mind AC/DC. Therefore, the real question has to do with the level of execution, which in this case is solid even though The Rise of Chaos might be Accept's weakest release since they reunited. However, this doesn't mean that this isn't an enjoyable LP with some great riffs by Mr. Wolf Hoffmann and a strong vocal performance. Nevertheless, I am afraid that it might not have the same lifetime value as Blood of the Nations or Stalingrad.
