Pretty entertaining EP, but not as good as their first one. The first two songs on here are definitely the best.

Over-romanticized. If it were released today nobody would give a damn about it. It's a popular punk fashion statement to prefer this to Damaged, but at least Damaged has some grinding dissonant stuff in it that doesn't make me imagine surfboards. If you surf you're basically an Archie character in my mind. And Chavo's nothing special. Fight me.

Second EP, second singer, Morris having left to found Circle Jerks. As Azerrad puts it, it's a nasty nugget of low-rent nihilism. It's still unadulterated punk rock, but it doesn't contain the memorable riffs Nervous Breakdown had, nor their next trve hardcore sound yet.
